Looks shitty, but I've wasted too much time on it already :M

I like the ascii card above, it's great.

Did some banners for the social part, but nobody posted specs or templates for these things, so it's just a square with logo.
Went with classic pixel style for the first one, and the sharp metal edge for the rest, don't have the dice yet, but I may add one later.
It's all made from scratch with no pre-made font, just like the wet stuff I posted previously, but these are dry.

Here you go. You can use the new and improved codex troll in your sloppy designs!

This one looks surprisingly good. I didn't think the lighter shade would work but this is so far my favorite.

Completely agree, looks very good. The only thing we should decide - where troll should stand - on grey "road", or like in first variant, there should be die.

It's fine indeed, but from a contest I expected something more, uhm, explosive?
Sorry, can't contribute, I suck at art.

Best visual design so far, but this card won't work as is. Couple of tips I learnt from getting some fancy business cards printed once:
  • Business card templates need bleed space on the edges. That die would get cut off to cover the edges of the card.
  • Low-resolution low-DPI raster images are a big no-no, the source material should look sharp on screen at 300 DPI. (Which is why I didn't upscale the troll much nor use that background image from codex.)
  • Swap the lower left and upper right info. So all company info is on one side of the divider and the optional personal info on the other.
  • Then there is this legal bullshit issue... if that really is the exact font from American Psycho business cards, then you're using a non-free font illegally. Copyright mafias are a lovely thing, aren't they? But it shouldn't be a big deal, there probably are free alternatives that look similar.
And find a place for DU's small print so this can actually be used! Would be a shame if the best design didn't get selected because of that. :salute:

Can you post the RPG CODEX doesn't scale to your level text as a see through image and and and the little codex dude carrying the dice, then I will make you a card worthy of the gods dark underlords.

I can change the Font/colours extremely easily. If you have any suggestions I'm all ears.

I can change the texture if it's needed, but I can't do much about the troll. I painted over it a bit to make it less stretched out, but I have no idea how that would look printed.
I can put the info on the back of the card it that is preferred, also can change fonts to whatever.

The Red (195,43,43) is too bright on the dark blue(54.64.86) (It hurts the eyes) and the white(255.255.255) is to white and the black(0.0.0) to is too black or dark. It is very contrast colors strong (too strong) and it contains to much dark areas for a business card.
Take for the red a the light blue of the RPG codex Greg Martin color or a darker red. For the black use rgb(64,64,64). For the white writing use rgb(216,216,216). Dark gray on light gray looks more surious. Or do not merge the layers so that i can show you what i mean.

A couple of you are starting to get pretty close with the business cards.
