Why does the background look so pixelated?
Without it:
I think your screenshot quality is utter shit, some heavy compression going on here. Even the character portraits look bad. Fix that!

I enjoyed Kuon mainly for the atmosphere - it creates the feeling of this almost palpably oppressive, suffocating darkness of a summer night - as well as the setting and overall classy, almost Kabuki-esque presentation. The gameplay is OK I guess. The combat is pretty easy and the game is really generous with supplies and its equivalent of save ribbons. Plus you can regenerate health at any time via meditation. There are some cute ideas, like summoning various creatures to help you in combat or how, like in Clock Tower 3, bumping into some object might produce a noise that attracts/spawns enemies, but I had no need for the former outside of experimentation and a couple of encounters, and the latter ain't much of a issue due to how easy the combat is. Oh, and the characters start losing their health if you run for more than a second or two. But this is again canceled by regeneration so it's more a nuisance than anything.
Still, I very much enjoyed playing it.
Mundaun I need to come to terms with yet - just finished it - but I'd recommend it alright.

Having a break from Hollow Knight. Decided to take on XCOM no squad upgrade challenge in Legendary Ironman mode...what I was thinking
The medic with full health took a crit swing by the Archon died instantly.
You can see the medic died by the door.
Thought it was the run over but decided to have a go anyway cause why not. At least there is a Templar with bladestorm and a mind shield!
Lo and be hold. Two well time attacks that got the Warlock died at the beginning of my turn let us worn the sarcophagus down nicely
By the third time, it was perfect since the Warlock was respawned at only 34% health
We made it!
Rip medic
