Wanton Destruction is complete.
Apart from some extra Blood episodes and Duking out in DC for DN3D this marks my completion of the three Build Engine game pillars - Blood, Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior.
Blood had the most satisfying character movement and setting cultists on fire never gets old but level quality falls a bit in the later episodes, Duke felt a bit more consistent in terms of level quality(not without a few crappy ones) and Shadow Warrior got nukes, punching bees with kung-fu and plenty of memorable levels too.
Thought it's going to be Blood>=DN3D>SW for me at first but it's actually a lot harder to judge which one i liked the best now that i played them all.
Anyway, here is another cute animu girl.

Otherwise an awesome level.

By traps i meant stuff like those damned beeping mines. Blood hitscanners are the nastiest, yes.

Oh, yeah, the mines.
You can trigger them with grenades or just try to quickly run past them before they go off.
I find that grenades are the best, though they have a pretty big blast radius.

I find that grenades are the best, though they have a pretty big blast radius.

Pretty sure that the grenade launcher was responsible for at least half of my deaths.
Now, for something slightly different. Wizordum.

Already played the demo a long time ago, thought the game was pretty cute.

Wasn't sure what to feel at first about the item that reveals all secrets on the map but then i noticed that it doesn't always show the clear path towards the secret.
And the item itself is often hidden in the secret you must find first.

Can't recall frost staff being capable of doing this in the demo.

Slimes are no much for my orb.

Early access version only has one episode for now but all of the levels after the first two are very long. Just completed it, took me somewhere around 6 hours.
It was alright. Levels are a bit too long and big for my tastes but they're jum-packed full of secrets.

I noticed that the boss bugs out and stops moving if you decide to abuse the invisibility power-up. Felt a bit too dirty so i reloaded and beat him fair and square.

That game is just pure soul. One of the best protagonists with the best one-liners of all time too.
