Ah, that game introduced me to the stealth genre when I was a kid. I've still got it lying around somewhere and thought of firing it up a while back, but maybe it's better to just retain my good memories of hiding under bunkers while the nazis go apeshit because I missed rollcall.

And that's the last mudokon saved this level.
"Retired" obviously means "killed", which should tell you a lot about this level. As kinda fun as it was to turn them into minced meat thanks to a conveniently placed git-yer-chaingun vending machine, the map really wasn't very good. It was essentially 2 shooting ranges with some jumping inbetween.
Next stop: Reservoir Row
And that's the last mudokon saved this level.

I always liked the extra-industrial, kinda dieselpunky design of Oddworld. Unfortunately, there aren't as many 2d backdrops and vistas in Munch's Oddysee as in Abe's Oddysee/Exoddus for obvious reasons, but it can still deliver the goods at times.

Lords of Shadow 2 is a huge incline. They fixed awful static camera shots and made it more flexible, dynamic and you can always control it. Making Dragon's Lair mode optional was another step forward. At least I was not forced to replay them if I failed pressing one button. Too bad for console keypads showing constantly on the screen. But after some time and help of F1 button I've beaten whole game on k+m. Now placing Mirror of Fate in gaming queue.
