I STILL use the numpad keys for FPS games. Even online. I never got used to WASD.

Actually had a decent clickety clack keyboard before this 'un, but it was old and pretty goddamn gross. Plus this is USB.

Still, I've been tempted to get a swanky modern mechanical keyboard but I just can't justify it when my only complaint playing Doom keyboard-only. Would be more aesthetically pleasing sure, but eh.

I use numpad keys as well. 1235 for movement. 4 is jump, 0 is crouch, 8 is reload. Num enter and plus are most commonly used functions besides that (pinky finger reaches those), followed by 7, 6 and 9 in that order. Left-handed people like me don't get into WASD very often, and there's too much empty space around the arrow keys to comfortably reach a lot of additional functions. I've tried arrows with shift/ctrl for jump/crouch, numpad 0 for reload and Delete/end/pgdown for most common functions, but numpad feels more comfortable.

I am right-handed, I think I used the numpad because I played FP games like Lands of Lore right before Doom. I started using WASD (ZQSD actually in the Azerty bizarro world where I grew up) in Quake 1, I still play Doom and LoL with the numpad though.
