The defense of Luo Yang is successful. We repelled multiple waves from Cuck Cuck and suffered minor casualties.

The mounting losses meant Cuck Cuck left us alone for a few weeks to resupply and draft more troops. I decided to move my home base forward to Luo Yang and prepare for an offensive.

First. a camp is built to block Cao Cao's advances.

This serves two purpose: he can no longer reinforce his other city when it is attacked and he cannot attack Luo Yang without dismantling the camp first. Only then we can commence Operation Red Hare.

Yes, Lu Bu is going in solo.



3 months of this shit and Cuck Cuck's isolated city is starting to fall apart. They can't do anything since every activity requires a month to complete, and we're disrupting every single one of them with the repeated raids.

No reinforcements are coming...and eventually they're down to the last 10,000 men when the fifth assault ended.

What was the deal with that guy anyway? I thought lightsabers were like the be-all-end-all of melee weaponry, then some random trooper's got something that's just as good? Why don't they all have it, then? Seemed like something Lucas would've shoehorned into one of those sequels just be 'cool.'

Magnaguards from Revenge of the Sith had these staffs that could hold off ligthsaber attacks as well.

So it's not entirely new, but lame either way.

I believe the biggest offense regarding the those troopers with anti-saber batons is that they can, apparently, fight against jedis which are supposed to be the greatest melee fighters in the star wars universe.

But no sooner we marched home, another attack commences on two cities.

I suppose we can try stopping two stacks of armies with a standard 50,000 troops. But why use a cannon to kill a mosquito?
10,000 elite Mounted Archers marched under the command of Lu Bu.

The first stack was destroyed without too much of a problem.

The game has very good ship controls (both in hoover and in jet mode, i didnt even touched the key settings, default ones are just fine), it has decent graphics, and it tries to be funny all the time (not always successful).
But also there are difficulty spikes in some missions (one hit kill weapons show up around 25% into the game and only in some missions) and some maps look like they are made for just flying around, exploring and finding hidden items/objects but the game keeps messaging you to continue the main mission.
It made me rage on some missions but other then that its pretty fun.
