TIME TO END THIS EVIL THAT MARSHALS BEFORE US

Shittons of rivers and hills and fortifications, my favourite.

This one in particular is gonna be fun for sure, I can already smell the dozen steam gunners, shadow warriors and shadow dragons.

And... goat kings?

Absolutely halal!

But finally, 2 hours later...

Wait, that's all?

NOT EVEN SOME KIND OF AN ENDING CINEMATIC SHOWING ME SITTING ON A HUGE MOUNT OF GOLD?

:rage:

Worst ending since Eye of the Beholder 1.

Also Jesus Christ this last campaign was such a fucking DRAG.
But I guess I can add another achievement: "Finished Fantasy General after roughly 15 years since starting it"

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Alien Trilogy, the level design is more like streamlined Wolfenstein 3D, and for a game from 96 it's really not complicated. It seems that the game was first and foremost made for the PSX / Saturn. I'll try Alien Resurrection when the time comes.

And here we go again!

:yeah:

Funny thing now is that I can beat the game more or less easily (with enough continues). Gone are the days I struggled to finish level 2: only the last two levels still give me trouble.

On to Ghouls 'n Ghosts! A childhood favourite (mostly on consoles but also a bit in arcade) but I could never finish stage 1.

Did you beat it twice as you're supposed to?

And this made me nostalgic for Heretic 2. How hard is it to run it on modern computers? That was a damn fine game.

This. I've been wondering about it myself. Hexen 2 got a Steam re-release, but so far nothing about Heretic 2.

It should be owned by Activision, i guess. They are more interested in sierras catalog at the moment, though.

I was replaying Heretic 2 fairly recently, and I'm p. sure it's easy to run on anything modern, as are all the games on the Quake engines.

I had a problem installing it on Win 7 some years ago, where installation was hanging, but it is relatively common issue and solution is easily found online if one encounters it.

Other than that, it ran without any issues.

Aye. The first screen is of the first fight with Astaroth and the “it was a trap, go back to level 1”, and the second screen is the true end.

And then the game sends you back to level 1 again just because.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign
After my party's heroic battle against Mangar in BT1, I finally got around to complete the first task in BT2. A task none other than the noble deed of venturing into the devious dungeon below, slaying the Dark Lord and rescueing the beautiful princess!
