Someone says a throwaway line about it spewing ash every once in a while. I'm not sure how scientifically accurate that is for Earth but since there are ash monsters fucking with the elves burial tomb I'm not sure how relevant that is anyway.

It's the standard SOE F2P model, so the item shop has stuff like bonus XP/Mana/health potions, cosmetic items, house items, and mounts. Not really P2W, unless you count XP boosts. I think there may be caps in progression or gear at the higher levels, but I usually get bored and move on to something else long before I get that far. It's a decent time waster, especially if you're like me and play MMOs like they're solo action RPGs a la TES games.

More people are playing now that it's F2P. Still a few bugs here and there, but nothing like the complete failure it was at launch.
