"Could care less."

I am so disappointed, Obsidian.

It's what you can expect from kwans. And game """"writers"""" in general, I guess.

I've even heard this used in some TV show. And I don't think it was intentional. Kwans are severely illiterate.

Though even if it was correct, it still sounds dumb as fuck in a game like this. I COULDN'T CARE LESS MUM I DO WHAT I WANT

I remember someone playing last mission, it was Flaktower or something like that, and it was ridden with these jerries like a mattress with cockroaches.
And since he played on console and was filthy achievement whore he played on highest difficulty. Nothing says more about "videogames are for manchildren| than grown up men screeching like a frigin banshee...

I tried play this filth on controller, still remember my headache trying to grasp that vile concept in practice.

How is the stutter? I tried to replay FNV again and installed all the mods listed here but still stutters quite a bit.

With these precise mods (Technical Stuff section), I get 130-144 FPS constant with not even the remotest hint of stutter or jitter:

I also manually set iPresentInterval=0 in the .ini files (all of them, just to be sure, including the default); I use G-Sync now, but even while I was still using v-sync I remember needing to change that setting to 0.

The only things strictly necessary to remove stutter are NVSE, 4GB LAA enabler, stutter remover, and changing the iPresentInterval setting, but you're going to want all of the things listed there anyway.

It begins again.
Getting into FNV again, as well.

My character is turning out to be awfully similar to my first one I had a few years back.

Not quite as JUST yet, but a few enhancements ought to fix that.

Bonus: I swear I don't know which mod caused this:

Probably a mod intended to turn it from a pretendo sort of-maybe-probably rape scene into something more definite.

Been wanting to play Powerslave/Exhumed (not the inferior native PC version but rather the superior console ones). I had downloaded PowerslaveEX back when it was released, but it kind of sat there for a couple of years. Now I'm getting back into it and my mouselook is fucked for some reason. Doesn't work - mouse is all jittery in game. Any thoughts? I'm playing with a gamepad but I really dislike playing FPS games with pads.

It's a pretty cool game, though.

As I understand, Powerslave EX is based on the PSX version of the game, which has less open levels and generally feels more constricted. I've also played a bit of the Saturn version, but it's pretty clunky to control and pretty muddy to look at, even if the tech was pretty impressive for the console, the devs worked some magic for sure. This custom engine was even used for Saturn port of Quake that was later released. Amazing job. Here's a bonus screen of it running in Beetle Saturn. Playable, but in addition to the control issue, the framerate is pretty awful.

Exhumed is pretty easy and plays relatively fine with a gamepad, even with all the platforming in later levels.
Superb atmosphere, fitting music and sound effects, intricate level design, unique weapons and those artifacts you get which open-up paths to new levels make for a really great game.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
So me and a friend was playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands and came across this:

XpZoLf6.jpg

Jungle, skinned bodies hanging upside down in trees. Odd drum-like music playing in the background... where have I seen this before?

ytNfbsL.jpg

This thing looks a bit out of place. Could be that the drug-lords bought a UFO from Area 51 or something, they do seem to have a lot of cash and connections here.

ULicn8D.jpg

We found some strange glowing liquid on some plants. Tasted like liquorice. We decided to follow the liquid since it formed trail... like a BLOOD trail.

SupayvZ.jpg

Whatever we were following ripped the throat out of this UNIDAD soldier. Looks like he died in a lot of pain.

Time to investigate further. The heat sensor didn't pick anything up, but we kept hearing strange clicking sounds from the trees... and those god damn drums.

eW2eFbN.jpg

Suddenly we spotted something shimmering in front of us. We opened fire and it roared at us. Soon all hell was unleashed. I called in militia reinforcements as this would get real nasty quick.

Tl6F0EO.jpg

The fire fight lasted long into the night. The "thing" kept throwing spears at us and our militia was cut down by some kind of strange blue plasma. They stood no chance.

Vruh2IR.jpg

Eventually my friend got the beast down as I was dying... It got down to its knees and activated something... something that caused an incredible explosion that took out the remaining militia and my friend. (Yes, I'm speaking from the afterlife)

Seriously though. It was really well done and I wish the whole game was like this actually. It felt like we were being hunted in the jungle. The segment also had all the cool music from the movie which just add to the awesomeness. Man, what a thrill this mission was.

When you are doing your investigation there is only jungle sounds except these drums being played at random:

But when you reach the Predator this music starts:

It was magical.
