Alas, a stray arrow put me down and that was the end of my participation.
But I got a good feeling. We backed the Empire. It felt like we killed more than our enemy. But I can't be sure since they outnumber us by around 200 more.
The biggest problem when facing Sarleon Kingdom is always their Knights charging everywhere, wrecking infantry formation. Not to mention hardcore jousting damage that can one-hit kill anything unfortunate enough to stand in its patch. But we've killed hundreds of them at the start of the battle. Loads of baiting, sacrifices and circling around with our own cavalry.
Left with just their infantry and bowmen, the Sarleon Kingdom starts to melt under Empire's better infantry formations.
Everything looks sealed when they had to do an uphill charge on a line of Empire's crossbowmen.
Yeah, just more Sarleon fodders. Constant volleys just kept thinning them. As long no cavalry around to disrupt the crossbowmen, the Empire's got this in the bag.
It's over. Payday.
And thus ends a forty minute battle...
I lost around half of my warband of 30.
My employers, Bacchus Empire lost 475, 225 wounded.
While our enemies...
Also caught four fleeing lords in the aftermath. Ransom jackpot incoming.
