Actually that's only 10 dead Gunships, it's just that 2 got split by excessive dakka.
The ship is 100% stock modules, BTW, and comparable to Gunship in terms of mass and budget.

I like how the Genestealer bodies are physical objects. Not only they litter the corridors as a testament of fierce fighting ...

Man, can't count how many times I restarted that game, through almost decade (one of the first games on my fresh Steam account, had to buy it on GOG though cus it worked weird even with patches), managed to finish it recently, finally!

I played a bunch of cheap action RPGs and russian RPGs but nothing prepared me for combat in that game. Dashing enemies reminds me of my misadventures in Risen 2&3, where keeping distance doesn't matter since enemies can just dash at you at any moment from any distance.
Hate that crap.

Shooting? Meh.
Where are the headshots? Tried to land some but not only they didn't worked (no damage increase) but there were instances where they crashed my game (GOG version with latest patch).

I experienced infamous sewer level and can live to tell a tale about how boring they were. Last 1/4 of the game is boring slugfest, meh.

The guy left me no choice, my potatos must be protected
I am already bored of combat though.
Guess i should have invested a bit more into magic to make things somewhat more fun, instead of ignoring it and making essentialy the stealth archer.

I also find the quest backtracking somewhat annoying.
Doubt that i am going to be in this game for long.

Everyone told me "it's gud until you leave Barcelona" but it was shit in Barcelona so I never even got that far.
Doesn't help that most of the early fighting happens inside one giant sewer level.

There is also a plenty issues concerning the "balance", if you can call it that.
Like, you touched the blue magic crystal and got teleported into the small island drifting across the space. There is a tough demon thingy guarding the exit who hits like a truck and takes an hour of kiting to beat. Guess how much xp you get for beating the thingy?

4!
In comparison, a slow ass moving and fragile wasps give you 37

And that is just one example.

Well, at least Barcelona has some fun people to meet.

Fantasy doesn't have enough wizards in a fanciest robes hiding from the spanish inquisition on their space islands methinks.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I've replayed Legend of Kyrandia II: Hand of Fate to test the Sound Canvas. One of my first adventure games, and it still holds well. There are some nice easter eggs and references that I didn't noticed earlier. It was cool finding out that you can for example read all the letters that you need to find for the dragon postman. The only letdown was Volcania where someone dropped the ball, and you could even walk through lava at one screen without being burnt. Finding the one particular spell at the rainbow machine was also a cheap move, but after some time I knew what I'm missing. Other than that, it was a great nostalgia trip, Frank Klepacki is one of the best composers ever and the pixel art is gorgeous. I also probably found out all the death screens as well.

Great game. I went through the whole series recently. I only played some of 1 and 2 long time ago but did not complete then.
Superior in every way to 1 and 3.

Plus Zanthia, what a bunch of sexy pixels. :bounce:

I remember playing it in potato in the 90s when I could still barely read in the first place, one of the first adventure games I ever played. Fun times, even though I don't remember almost anything from it and I doubt I ever got too far, although I do remember the finale, so I must have cheated my way through there in some way lul. In fact, the finale and that scene with the goy caught by the carnivorous plant are the only things I remember.

Mayhap it's time to revisit.

The first challenge was to set config.sys and autoexec.bat to be able to play it.
This was a rare case, and the IPS Computer Group as a publishers were really pioneers considering the 90's computer scene. It was really nice to finally know what people are talking about. I also remember Syndicate, System Shock, Subwar 2050 with polish subtitles and way much later Dungeon Keeper which had a great and funny script with quality voice acting.
As for the difficulty, it's the most fair part of the trilogy. No horrible labyrinths, gathering dozens of items and we can't die easily as before. The third part could be really good, since it had some nice choices and consequences, but then I remember the Isle of cats and the new ugly graphics.

n fact, the finale and that scene with the goy caught by the carnivorous plant are the only things I remember.

Looks like someone wants a Zionist Agent tag.
