Did you use reshade to inject some ambient occlusion? I don't remember the original having such nice highlights.

Yes, but I didn't use ReShade, I used Fpsc Engine. It's better because it can render AO behind GUI, without any bleeding artifacts. It also has some other useful options.
I'm also using my own ai upscales.
