Rance is actually a serial rapist. The only reason why he is the 'protagonist' is that the villains are much, much worse than he is.

When it comes to combat it's more about strategy than tactics. You can only use each unit once per turn for attacking, defending or other actions so you need to manage to win the fights without using the most broken unit combinations every time.
The combat itself is won if you have the meter on your side once the rounds run out. This can be accomplished by either wiping the enemy side, doing damage or using abilities that directly affect it. Defenders start with meter on their side and castles and forts give battle rating advantage which makes the enemy gain meter and damage troops less and the opposite for you. It's something of a unique experience.

Steam is probabbly never. Not when the very soon report of a gang rape scene on a loli happen, and the massacre of the boys involved afterward. And it's pretty early in the game too, so probabbly report of it will happen within 200 unit sold.

Hell, the power rape of Senhime is also pretty early and could get reported too, even if it's somewhat "better" than said gangbang one~ And Senhime case can be pretty early.

The loli thing is mainly bad because it’s a loli and so are the boys.

But Steam would probably reject it because the entire game is based on rape.

Ignoring what ~80% of characters say is in-character for Rance anyway. It does have a lot of humor though.

Overly long vid of noise. I like metal as much as the rest but that was just noise and MEH!

To be fair the intro was designed for Japan where 90% of people know 90% of these characters and just want to see their designs and which ones got turned into cute girls. Not sure why Mangagamer didn't make something showing off or at least describing the gameplay. Seems silly to basically rely on word-of-mouth to communicate that the game is actually really good

As to Rance the rapist, Im surprised he doesn't get comprimised by rapists as well knowing his lengendary status. Are there spirits, demons, yokai beings etc in this? Somecertainly look very inhuman.

The lore is quite rich, Youkai play a significant role in SR, you got Oni too, angels(or lesser gods) and devils exist but dont appear directly in this game. And you have DemonsDarkLordsMajin Fiends fucking things up for humanity.

In one of first few missions you get a tied up wife of one lord, to do whatever you want with her. Her husband even allows it.

The more important is however teasing your general until you get him into high enough stress he became Kabuki actor.

As for Steam's unreliable standards, I wonder if Monster Girl Quest would be allowed nowadays, as all smut scenes feature a male being dominated by women in increasingly horrifying ways.
