Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I've just read the game manual and it brings back the good memories of the BG2 manual :fuuyeah:

The only thing that bothered me was the Race Description where the Organization/Characteristics part duplicates the content from the Homeland.

Are there any plans for an expansion? The game shapes into one of the best RPG of the year, but I don't have much time for replaying games so I only play them only after all Expansions/DLC/GOTY editions are out.

There is! The codex helped design part of it, even.

Infinitron: We hadn't gotten around to syncing all that up yet, but should through the next month or so (for those who have already provided an email). We'll go through the list and ask for emails soon as well, and will make accounts for everyone with their rewards based off those.

:outrage:

:negative:SHAME! We have a development break on Sunday to print and bind the physical journals, and then we'll either get to this later this month or sometime next, prior to the release of the game.

Manual is available for preview: http://serpentinthestaglands.com/manual/ (use the arrow keys)
Whalenought_Joe this page gonna need seome vertical scrolling or the text gets obscured.

Isn't it like 920 wide? That's already below the standard! We'll be including a pdf version of it with the game when it's all finalized though, which anyone should be able to view. That whole manual is still in-progress, we'll be announcing when it's finalized. We debated putting the solution of how to survive certain creatures/environments that are usually invincible in the manual, or put them in Erlein's handbook (which not everyone opted for). We have them all in the later, but think we'll include some in the manual for everyone to set some expectations. All the solutions are able to be found in game, regardless. We'll be working on that more in the coming week.

Big KS update coming soon!

It amazes me that you are only two, TWO people doing this much work and even still have time to add those fine little details that make or break games. Plus the amazing art. And on top of that you are very level headed during communication on the forums.

Can't wait for the game!

shitty prediction on 7DS, joe

I think I remember saying they'd make it. Instead of the video they should of just had a still image of this but given the guy a samurai hat:

I imagine they'll turn something else around soon.

Surf Solar: Thanks! Happy to hear that it looks like we're doing something right. We love the work and what we got into the game in a year, I hope it shows when we release. We're biding our time to go ballistic on the Steam forums later.

Whalenought_Joe How long have you been working on this game? The Kickstarter page says early 2013 - that means you're going to have a development time that's on par with big budget Kickstarters made by full-sized teams, which is extraordinary. Most indie RPGs end up taking years and years. But perhaps there's code in SitS that you were able to bring over from your previous titles?

Infinitron I think we were concepting the world and design ideas in 2013 while we were doing other work. We also started researching Unity around then to figure that out. I think our KS ended in April, and I want to say we were in full time development a few months before that. Hannah would know the calendar better.

Our previous titles couldn't be of any use for the new workflow we had, beside the experience gained from doing them. A lot of time was getting used to the engine, this is our first large project like this, and it needed to be flexible. A lot of the infrastructure from the first 'draft', what we used for the KS campaign, had been redone out of necessity. We got our groove in early 2014 though. I'm sure we could have worked on the game for years but we needed to stay in scope of the original project, which all that planning helped with.

We can also comfortably put in a lot of hours and build things quickly by just working together and at home. We've fortunately had time to plan out some expansion content and our next project, so we're set to hit the ground running on those after release. The biggest issue is not having enough hours in a day.

If this doesn't work out we can adapt the game into a children's book and do that again.

Very impressive. I want to ask "what's the catch?", but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
