Eve jungle, morde mid, riven top, mf (me) and taric bot. We win all lanes, get fed and lose the game, gee I wonder why. Oh yes, we have no way to engage and initiate because our brilliant premades thought last pick morde is a smart idea! Also I have no idea how morde against cait mid is a smart idea. But sure, blame eve morde.

Premades are quite possibly the worst thing in solo queue.

I want to stress that I do dislike Alistar support. I just don't think the combo is problematic in any way.

I just got Nami - my main champ - in the new ARAM mode... It went as you'd expect.

Nami's AoE CC on a tight, small map like this...


This really shows you what's good about Nami: nobody can conceivably dive you or your carry if you carefully time your skills- not without blowing everything they have, which is usually a bad idea and puts them out of position. On the other hand, even with no items at all, you provide incredibly hard CC that can not easily be mitigated or avoided.

Nami needs nothing to be strong- just prudence and care. Due to her high ranges she should never (easily) die.

I found that her movespeed is a bit sluggish oddly enough and her lvl1 armor is low unless you have a support runepage with those (I don't). I already had like 3 people bitching at me for the low armor value at lvl1 in ranked.

Her Q is rather difficult to master but when you're stopping kha'zix from jumping by casting one which hits him just as he begins his jump, man now that feels rewarding.

Now for your next level of Nami mastery, throw your Q where he will jump to- not where he will jump from. Talk about rewarding.

But yeah, if you're gonna play Nami you either play like a chicken or get a proper support rune page with armor reds!

My PC is currently in process of being fixed and laptop can't really handle LoL. Well, it used to be able to (with a shitty frame rate) and you can still play on ARAM or 3v3 but after Summoners' Rift redesign following issues arised: most of the enviroment textures are missing, minions, towers and inhibitors are invisible, autoattack animations aren't played (looks like champions are just standing there and chilling) and champions' health bars aren't being updated unless they are off the screen. Most hilariously the game never recognise if the champion is in the range of shop so you can only buy items when you're dead.

For some reasons my brother decided that these are just minor inconveniences and one can easily play the game nevertheless. Turns out he was right, Soraka carrying big:

THIS JUST IN : Ziggs is an amazing champion, when Lux or some other bitch spams shit at you, you spam back but your shit is smellier. The extra pushing power is appreciated since I much prefer pushing instead of following roam.

Now, what do you buy first on him, let's say you're against a similarly ranged champion. Would you buy Sheen for even more tower power + AA harass? Or just rush rabadons? Or chalice first, then deathcap?

Let's say your opponent is Khafix or Zed. Is it mandatory to get seekers first?

People overextend and pick fights in by-opponent-pushed lanes, die as a result. RIOT nerfs to help retarded people, punishes smart engages and smarts pushers.

Di change is sweet.

Nunu change is derp. Game developers who change stuff that works to make it "work as intended" should be shot. Nunu worked as a support, why force the jungle down on him and weaken a role where he fit in? He'll still be a fine support I suppose, I just dislike devs who think "work as intended" is a guiding star.

On the other hand the Varus change is a good one. Here the "work as intended" change makes sense because the way he's played now is straight up boring and risk-free, and the increased emphasis on PA puts more focus on his unique strenghts. Have to be careful though, Varus seems to be one of the few AD Carries who's in a good place with a strong game that couldn't be called too strong or too weak.

You've got to be joking. More Nami buffs?

This sucks! I main Nami! I love her! She's extremely potent! Now she'll just be nerfed into the ground because more people will pick her up, practice her and discover that while, indeed, she is terrible when you miss her skillshots she is in fact one of the best supports in the entire game, second only to Thresh. Now she might even be just as good. This slight buff in missile speed + stun duration + passive speed means that her already good harass in lane will be complete hell now and she'll have an even easier time saving people from ganks or turning trades around.

I guess I should enjoy it while it lasts.

Man, you got it all figured out. Everybody thought they should put their faith in a mix of mainstream views, pro player points, RIOT design and their own thoughts and experiences. All the while though, Jasede knew the truth.

It's fine that she works for you bro, but it's extremely arrogant to generalize that into her place in the game overall.

I think the issue with bad TFs is that map awareness in Solo QQ is ridiculously appalling, especially amongst the "mid or feed" crowd which doesn't know how to play any other lane properly (you know, those that require actual warding and thus map awareness). TF is nearly always a free win if you actually pay attention to the map and a lane hasn't snowballed out of control yet, even if your cs with him is as horrible as mine. His ganks are nearly impossible to avoid if you are anywhere in your lane other than right under the tower. You just ping on the enemy laner, prepare gold card and press R, ult between the target and his tower to cut him off. "An enemy has been slain!" it's not fucking rocket science, TF is the single easiest mid pick if you want to gank lanes. That's the entire point of picking him. And yet half of the TFs I see never ult gank at all.

I could understand being useless if somebody picks up an "OP" FotM pick with a high skill requirement and can't play him optimally. But TF? That's just sad.

EDIT:

Grunker the reason for the nunu change or rather consume nerf is because of his ridiculous top lane. People started catching up to the fact that short of an early game gank he's an immovable object and a ridiculous bully. Hence the base and ratio nerfs on his consume's heal. Also this change doesn't really change his support potential by much. Blood boil is unchanged as are snowballs, it's just consume. Does he honestly need bigger ratios on consume and more base heal to be an effective support?

They try to, but that can be good for our team because it splits them up or forces them to run a certain way.

I use it in these situations:

* to follow up a tank's initiation (this is one of the best uses as it can't miss, speeds up your team, disrupts the enemy team and makes it harder to flee
* to get a kill in bot lane when we're even and their cooldowns are down or when we're ahead and nobody is coming to gank. this is harder to land but if it does it is always a kill because it makes the Q next to impossible to avoid.
* to zone champions away that are defending a tower. often in my silver 1 land people will try to avoid the ult at all costs- even if it means abandoning the tower, so we can easily take it
* to counter an initiation and help the team get away
* to initiate a fight when I am 100% sure it will hit. examples: in the jungle, in the baron pit, around dragon
* to cancel MF or Nunu ults (or similar)

As you can see I prefer to use it in situations where it can't miss
