That statement out of context, is true. This sentence wasn’t written to make a general statement about the forum however. It was made in context of people calling out the suspicious practices of fish dog games. In other words, it gives the impression of the whistle blowers being qualified as trolls in order to disregard the criticism.

In that regard, it does facilitate the job of a scam artist when other members try to discourage criticism which is bringing to light dishonest practices.

Actually it is because the forum has its set of asshole cunts that take every opportunity to put people down for their own sick jollies. They also become fixated on certain people and attack them at every opportunity regardless of what they are saying at the time. A newbie would not be aware of that. Hence, the FYI bit. But you seem to know more than the author's intent and there is no convincing you, so believe what you want.
