AFAIK early access is only for those who were subbers for months. If you resub before 27th to get the new expanshun and the Revan one for freez though. If you resub this week you still get the x12 bonus xp to fast track a fresh toon to 55+.

Not that it matters, you can create a fresh lvl60 Consular in the new expansion and skip the story. :incline:

I started up a Chiss Imperial agent since I've been hearing nothing but good things said about the class. The sheer number on them running around leveling must also be a testament to that as well.

But now I wondering what crew skills I should give my Vampire the masquerade drop out side kick kaliyo.

Specifically, it has a pretty good story. However:

Gameplay... eh.. it's an (WoW-style) MMO. So you can hope for good gameplay, but don't expect it, lol.

Warning about the Agent: If you do NOT like the cover system, then AVOID the sniper advanced class.

I love how you can steamroll through the game now. It was a good move from Bioware because the only thing good about the game is the class storyline (aka single player, lol), and thus they get a mass number of subscriptions.

I know that I would have NEVER even touched SWTOR again - even for free - if not for hearing about the 12x experience.

Did this kill WOW yet?

Just checking... :M
Nope, WoW has the best and solid mechanics, along with good adaptation of raids. Not to make them simpler but less frustration (tediousness), more

SWTOR really has too many buttons to press, tbh. WoW has less buttons but I don't believe it's any less difficult strategically or tactically. SWTOR is just extra memorization (logistics) for no special reason. You can look at guides and see how crazy people get - SWTOR - for insanely rigorous rotations of abilities and people keep putting up videos of how well they do damage on a practice dummy compared to everyone else. It's pretty fucking retarded, because WoW is all about difficult aggro management, not how how much maximal damage you can pull out. The only time you worry about aggro is if a DPS ninjas the pull. Besides that you don't have to worry about DPS getting aggro, healers getting aggro, etc. It's so simple and yet has retarded ability bloat.

SWTOR is just good for (A) Star Wars fans and (B) pretty good class storylines aka single player mode. The class storyline quests (well, the good ones) IMO are better than the Mass Effects and Dragon Age. Not that it's hard to top those, but they can be enjoyable. PVP is also enjoyable because, well, there's a lot more emphasis on tactics (like, I never gave a shit about getting kills, I just did my best to win the game via whatever means necessary).

Blizzard knows how to make solid mechanics. Story? Not really. But in terms of having solid and fluid gameplay it's hard to top a Blizzard game. You could argue that it's not complex like games such as, well, all the tactical games and RPGs that we on the Codex rate highly. But we know those weak and/or clunky and/or very unbalanced specifically in gameplay enjoyment.

What was the guild's name again?
I think it's "Shepards of Diversity" but I don't log onto it much (only my two older characters are on it). Welp, obviously I can easily log on so if you want an invite or something lemme know. I believe my guildmaster character is A'napkin.

In other news I just rolled my third Sith Warrior. No, I haven't even finished Chapter 1. But I keep coming up with new ideas. Started out with Bastila-type who turned into Atris, but then got boring because I felt the the female VA had a lack of variety of vocal tone for different light/dark-side choices (I like to make choices on the spot, rather than making a "light side" or "dark side" character. I'm Jolee Bindo).

So I rolled a male, who seems, well, has a better range. However the female VA is quality-wise or technique-wise very good, if not just as good. I would not recommend one over the other, unless you want to really storyfag it up and roleplay and "get immersed," where the male VA is better at conveying shifts in beliefs and stuffies. From what I heard there's sensible reasons to make "dark" or "light" choices as a Warrior, rather than the mundane, typical "bribe me" stuff. For example if I give a prisoner the opportunity to go out in a fight with me (he had no hope or expectation of winning), so that he would "die on his feet," that counted as a Light side choice as a Sith, and my mentor berated me for it lol.

(Clearly I am most like a True Mandalorian. Which is probably what my Powertech will be)

Now ugh I rolled a female Imp Agent and that American bitch can't keep a British accent)

Edit: Oh, I forgot the third one. I decided to make a Body 1 male Sith because I have all Body 3 and Body 4 males... and I just have an Imp Agent and Sith Warrior to level up. Decided it would be lulzier to make a tiny Sith Warrior so there we go with my altitis.

(His name is Lubes Flystalker)

Uh, Jo Wyatt did the VO for the female imperial agent. Same actress as Ciri from TW3 and female Hawke from DAI. Pretty sure it's her natural accent seeing she's from London.

British actresses have an annoying tendency to overplay their accents when making films, TV shows or games for American audiences. That might be what he means. To a British person, it can sometimes really be grating hear British actors and actresses in productions where most other accents are American.

I guess it works then. As an American, I find her VOs some of the strongest in SWTOR and TW3.

She's pretty funny, when she does a "republic"(american) accent when undercover.

It might be intentional. Pay attention to who she's talking to. And who she's pretending to be.

Jo Wyatt was the second reason I rolled an Imperial agent. And so far I have found her to have the most natural sounding responses. While the Sith Warrior I created to make use of the 12x boost mostly delivers her lines in flat bullet points. "Name now" "some elaboration is required".

But speaking of the Sith warrior. Is the Juggernaut DPS spec any good?

Fine, fine, I'll give it a try after I get my new Warrior back on Dromund Kass.

Yeah that's why I quit mine for the male.

For leveling, for PVP, or for endgame?
