Usually it's 1 burst DPS class, 1 DoT DPS class and 1 healer/tank class. There are differences and they aren't crap. Usually.
Quests are fun, some of the class quests are very well written, good companions. Most of the environments are very well designed, especially cities like Nar Shaddaa and Coruscant. So if I'm reading the last few pages of this thread correctly then this shit is actually kinda good, eh?
it's warcraft, with some bells and whistles attached in the form of starships (which are all the same for everybody) and landspeeders (which are all the same for everybody), with a criminal monetization scheme which brutally punishes f2p, mandatory builds and mandatory skills. there's not even a talent tree. it's so sawyerized that last time i checked the very bestest of the best pvp builds was that one in the name of its 6,5% higher dps average over all others. it's a bad 20 years old game.So if I'm reading the last few pages of this thread correctly then this shit is actually kinda good, eh?

if you don't play a stealth class you have no idea what "filler" actually means, i should go on with "and over" for at least a whole page
And as usual the question on the internets will always be: "Hi I am new, what spec is the best?", followed by some parrot repeating what others said and tell him "the dot spec!".Usually it's 1 burst DPS class, 1 DoT DPS class and 1 healer/tank class. nitpicking, and you know it.with some bells and whistles attached in the form of starships (which are all the same for everybody)
Untruth. While mechaincally identical, the layout of the classes' ships is different. It's just that both Sith classes have the same ship model and both Jedi classes have the same ship model. Imperial Agents, Bounty Hunters, Smugglers and Republic Troopers all get different toys.

Untruth. You get to pick 8 talents out of 4 different pools, and these can very significantly change your build. As for pvp, perhaps you mean a dps build? Keep in mind that there are other roles to play, also in pvp.

While technically true, the filler has been significantly reduced, at least in nice places such as House Rist of Alderaan. And you can just run past them all, reach the story area entrance, get killed, call a med probe to revive you, enter the story area and be done with it.

Inqui is the only class I would replay in a hearbeat. Still get smiles thinking about it.But I did see you mention skipping on the Inquisitor story, my good Commissar. I am severely disappointed
"Announce me Khem."
And announcing your morose monster does.
It must be really confusing for people who haven't played WoW for years prior tbh.Used to be you were getting them more slowly. BugoWare changed that about 2 years ago.
I'm playing a juggernaut now and it's by far the worst so far.TBH, it feels that only Warriors/Knights have to deal with that hassle. You can quickly run out of juice and depending on the spec juicemakers are late bloomers.
Every class has way too many fucking abilities and gets them way too soon. By level 20 you have at least 2 full quickbars overflowing with abilities. I feel like some classes are the equivalent of playing dance dance revolution because of all the buttons you have to press/react to various procs.
Overloading you with abilities that all essentially do the same thing but on different cooldowns isn't interesting or complex, it's just cumbersome.
