You forgot about the lack of a loading screen every 30 seconds, better graphics, better optimization, a more reactive world, vehicles, combat mechanics, NPCs that don't look like shit.the reason is both are current scifi FPS/RPGs and Starfield shits all over Cyberpunk in terms of being a sandbox open world with emergent gameplay, and Cyberpunk wins with the writing and story. Same as with Skyrim vs Witcher 3.There's a reason why there's been a ton of CP2077 vs Starfield comparisons (it doesn't look good for SF).
continue dreaming? that's up to you but comparing Starfield to Cyberpunk is like comparing Skyrim to Witcher 3, both are different games. One is more sandbox the other more story focused and linear. Starfield is still fun to play after 150 hours where I had to uninstall Cyberpunk after only 3 because I got a headache from the overstimulation of sound, visuals and sex. If you enjoy Zoomerpunk then good for you, Starfield is more my jam right now. And I say that as somebody who has been hyped for Cyberpunk since they dropped their teaser trailer in 2013, spend 100 hours playing on release, but compared to Starfield now it's way too over the top and nausea inducing. Even AI of random NPCs is at least 10 times better (still crap).
Should I continue or is it enough?

That's... pretty normal. Frontend devs will do backend and devops stuff before they'll be allowed to do graphic design.Having separate roles for designers and programmers is completely retarded by the way and probably a major reason for their constant pathetic UI failures.
there’s a mod that fixes that “baka achievement enabler”My Steam achievements got disabled because I had to use the console to fix a quest-breaking bug (unable to speak to someone through a sealed window/room, so I had to noclip through the wall and kill him).

well, still. It’s like having the solution to a problem right in front of you and still bitch about the problem. There is no excuse for a shitty UI. SkyUI works great with a controller and a TV. Much better than the vanilla UI. The excuse that the UI is shit because it was made for a controller has never been valid.
That's like saying, the best game anyone could release would actually be a programming language built from the ground up for gaming because you can make whatever you want in it and it was built to support that, so of course they wouldn't bother making content.well, still. these people release their games with mods in mind, that’s why they still have their shitty old engine because quite frankly it’s the best engine for modding. Look at Cyberpunk and what a clusterfuck modding is there. 3 weeks after release and Starfield already has half the mods that CP got in 3 years.

They keep the UI shit because mods will fix it.![]()
and so the cycle continuesBy the end of the thread, people will lament the loss of BioWare and how great, deep, and immersive their space games were. I am only half-joking after Starfield.

I do prefer Oxygen Not Included right now over DFWhy play an unfinished game for the emergent gameplay when you have much better games like Rain World and Dwarf Fortress that give you way superior emergent experiences?
Mods will fix it does not work at release when there is no official mod support. And on Xbox there is no mod support of any kind. So 95% of players are stuck playing with shitty UIwell, still. No, POIs are just for looter shooter stuff. Exploration happens in the cities in this game, and through quests that send you to other hand-crafted locations. I've spent many hours clearing out POIs but that's because I was loot hunting for the best gear, not because of typical Bethesda gameplay, for that, you have to constrain yourself to the hand-crafted locations ie cities and outposts and the quest locations they send you to.Anything will do, honestly, content in Starfield is stretched too thin and focused around POIs for emergent gameplay to shine. Previous Beth games were far from the level of something like STALKER but things felt way less formulaic. Zero thrill in getting to an outpost just to get arrows showing you the locations of the next three over and over again, all by walking with a mix of spacebar, shift, and waiting for O2 to fill up again.
Nah, the natural landscapes are too high effort to dismiss like that. It's really cool to stumble across a covered crater on a desolate moon or herds of alien wildlife roam across the savannah on an alien world. They're clearly trying to tap into the same game loop as NMS--and at times it genuinely succeeds--but there's a lack of structure tying all the exploration systems together which is why the game is a bit too dependent on the city quest hubs currently. No, POIs are just for looter shooter stuff. is your asshole lonely or why are you fishing for brofists using a straw man argument? That's not what I said, but now that you bring it up:Modders have to work 10 times as hard to fix this piece of shit, that clearly means it's better than Cyberpunk.
