I can be a murder hobo in space, that at least is a cool gameplay loop that without a doubt exists.

That was pretty much the only part of the deep dive that piqued my interest. Disable another space ship, board it, fucking murder the fuck out of everyone and take their shit. And their ship. Like Sid Meier's Pirates! in space. Could be serious fun times, if done well.
You have a spaceship with laser beams and explosives, but you can't conduct orbital strikes b/c no seamless transition = gay.

I wonder if you can visit Earth too.
Highly doubt it.
Generating planets with one or two biomes, scattered small outpost and maybe a town here and there is doable.
Generate a planet with billions of people, countless cities and towns and a plethora of different biomes? A planet that most peoples know very well?

But they said that he Solar system is included too. Maybe there is some apocalyptic event that render the Earth completely destroyed or something like that.

Maybe, or they'll bullshit their way with permits requirements to land on earth that the player will never have and maybe add space staation in earth orbit you can visit.
Same shit Elite Dangerous does.

This is Beth we're talking about, so the economy will be broken and money worthless, meaning you'll get nothing of value from space piracy. Mods might make good use of it though.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Oh my bad. I had no memory AMD was SO behind the curve still at the time. :(
AMD was behind the curve, but it wasn't even close to as much as the system requirements make it out to be. The system requirements are just complete bullshit. They have a RTX 2080 on the same tier as the RX 6800 XT which is almost 60% faster than the 2080 on average according to Tech Power Ups GPU chart.

Considering Skyrim modders have managed to slap DLSS into the game I'd be shocked if this didn't have it (at the same time, if it did surely they wouldn't be aiming for 30fps on console).

Recommended is a 3080/RX 6800 XT, not a 2080, granted there's no real inclination on what "recommended" means in this situation, could be 30fps/1080p and Starfield turns into a benchmark for all future graphics cards for all we know.

No, it’s a 2080.

I haven’t found anything that I can’t run at max settings with my 2080 yet, and my native res is 4K. I can’t imagine that something as muddy-looking as a Bethesda game is going to be what does it if RDR2 is no problem. Maybe the new STALKER, but not this.

I imagine this will be correct. Maybe like in Cowboy Bebop where the earth is shrouded in orbiting debris that constantly rain down in the surface and makes it unliveable. One of the backgrounds is that you have a house on (the?) moon, I think, so that’s probably as close as you get.

That's assuming Beth can resist the temptation to use Earth as a way of referencing Fallout. Which would simultaneously fix the problem of population and landmass accuracy. "It was the bombs lol."

Earth was destroyed and turned barren. Some people noticed that in the video shown you can see the layout of the Sol star system and Earth is no longer blue, but a desert planet. Also, the arch in the desert is a real landmark.

Mothership Zeta redeemed. It was all plotted by Todd decades in advance.

I'm starting to get requests from customers to build them brand-new high-end gaming rigs specifically for Starfield.

Thanks, Todd!
Be sure to build and deliver them before any reviews come in and they cancel.
By the way the biggest pc retailer here (LDLC) income here dropped by 17% last year , profits divided by 30.
