Starfield I can feasibly comprehend, but how the fuck are you going to get even 200 hours out of an open world with a few sidequests here and there and a linear story? I know there are a gorillion ways you can complete the main quest in BG3, but it's still a run of the mill main quest with stages. There's no way you can get 200 hours out of BG3, unless you beta test the game for 2 years and do a playthrough every update, like me.Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3 have reignited the 'quantity vs quality' debate around RPGs that promise a billion hours of gameplay, but I think they can actually deliver:

No, this is about Bethesda not giving a fuck anymore. They kicked their own community to the curb.
Bethesda forums, which I had been an active member on since Morrowind
I see what this is all about now. You got End of Rhined by Todd.
Keep thinking mobile is decline while those guys are learning from all the hybridized PCconsole mishap mistakes, smells
Good. Talk to real people.About the romance options, the way Todd describe it sounds like that four people are the only ones having quest line(along with romance). So bascially there are only four companions(WTF Todd), the rest are just crews.

You're right.Real people are fucking boring.Good. Talk to real people.
I'd rather have four companions that are actually worth using, than 10+ that are fucking shitAbout the romance options, the way Todd describe it sounds like that four people are the only ones having quest line(along with romance). This. If their questlines are actually good and flesh them out this should be plenty. I still remember Nick Valentine's and that redhead crackwhore's questlines in FO4 which were nice.I'd rather have four companions that are actually worth using, than 10+ that are fucking shit

I got well over 300+ hours from PF WotR from doing a completionist run. Especially if you take time during the combats, inventory management, exploring every nook and granny, er I mean cranny, etc.Starfield I can feasibly comprehend, but how the fuck are you going to get even 200 hours out of an open world with a few sidequests here and there and a linear story? Again none of the companion in Fallout 4 has a "quest line", so Bethesda needs to step up their game big time here.

Huh?

yeah achievement crap instead of full blown institute surveillance stuff. Setting needs not only more institute but constant surveillance of player AND companion(s). Maybe even mcguffin by making them disappear as part of actual questline. Instead there will be starfield with (even) less focus...Again none of the companion in Fallout 4 has a "quest line", so Bethesda needs to step up their game big time here.

Technically, they all do (barring Dogmeat of course), it's just that most of the quest objectives are never shown. "Pick 30 locks" and "be nice to NPCs 20 times" are integral parts of Piper's questline, tbh.
Wow thanks for proving us right, retard.A questline is a series of quests.
"Quest" - a video game quest. "Line" - a series.

It's amazing how many Bethesda fanboys there are here. I remember back when their watered-down FPS games were the gold standard of AAA garbage.
Meanwhile, BG3 (a turn-based CRPG like we all used to say we wanted) gets non-stop irrational hate for things like not starting the plot at an inn, not having a real-time day/night cycle or not being real-time with pause. There are legitimate things to dislike the game for, yet few if any bring them up.
This site has really gone down the crapper is all I can say.
Right about what, fool? About questlines being different from quests? That's the only part of your gay argument I've read.Wow thanks for proving us right, retard.
