Am I seeing this right? The guy has black face, but white body... I bet some artist drew a white couple kissing for this poster, but then a suit/diversity specialist came up to him, and told him to make the man's skin black. So they did, but the artist forgot to recolor legs and hands lmfao.

or are they just fishing for attention and outrage articles with this shit? Especially since this guy has red hair, just like 90% of new atlantis crowd npcs

Liking this game more and more as it goes on. Polar opposite of the usual Bethesda experience, where the first five or so hours are fun and then it starts to grate.

Still not hitting the Bethesda-formula highs of Morrowind, Skyrim or Fo3 (yes, I like all those games) but it's leagues ahead of shit like Fo4.

The perks are surprisingly in-depth too, I don't think you've been able to build a character this specialised in any Bethesda game since Daggerfall. Sadly the overall quest and world design is still geared towards generic shooter characters, but there's so much cool shit you can only unlock via the perk tree, like systems targeting and diplomacy/robotics.

Hm.
It's weird how tech and space suits have this mundane NASA style to it...
But some civilian stuff looks like something from 80s italian low budget rip-off or a comedy skit.

Sounds more like sunk cost fallacy and stockholm syndrome at the same time.

It seems to have generated some spicy reactions.

https://www.youtube.com/@HeelvsBabyface/streams

Stream 1 runtime: 6:33:01
Stream 2 runtime: 5:18:52
Stream 3 runtime: 4:05:45
Stream 4 runtime: 8:21:06

That is a combined runtime of 24 and a half hours, with stream number five going on for well over an hour and a half at this point.

If the game is such abject shit it is grounds to scream like a child like this, why is he still playing it? It's not like he's garnering that many views with those livestreams, the only ones that get a significant amount are the ones with Mauler.

This vitiligo shit needs to STOP. I've never seen anyone with the condition in my LIFE.

And it's everywhere now, games, commercials, and soon probably movies (if it isn't already).

But hey, BOTH SIDES right?

You stupid motherfuckers for not understanding you should all have gone scortched earth with this woke crap.
There was a time when I was more sympathetic to conservative conerns over SJW (this was before the term "woke" took off) preachiness and naivete. I agree it doesn't make much sense for everywhere to be a diverse, multi-ethnic hub straight out of a corporate DEI program. But then I ran up into the thing that presumably turns off every other educated person off when they try to deal with conservative thought. Conservatives are fucking luddites. Like say you're a geologist who believes in traditional family values but you're also studying groundwater reservoirs and notice current agricultural practices are exploiting the resource too rapidly which will lead to poor crop yields and sinkholes in a decade or so. If you try to point this out to a conservative, they will call you a woke soyjak and invent conspiracies for why your data was fabricated by Soros in an effort to use regulatory standards to pacify and control the population. At that point your cultural concerns become secondary to the fact that a buch of moronic hicks are going to destroy the local industry and then beg for bailouts all the while never even realizing that their own dumbassery caused the problem in the first place.

I just 'dealt with' the pirate captain at the end of the first mission. At least I think I did. He's dead, somewhere. I don't even know how to find his body. Oh, well. Holy fucknuts that was boring.

Does this game get any better?

Get out of New Atlantis as soon as you can, and set off for the other cities like Neon. After a couple hours in Neon or Cowboy Town (forgot the name), you'll be able to make a reasonably fair judgment on the game.

If you're not liking it by then, you probably won't like it ever. It gets better but only in the sense that your character's skills develop and you unlock more exciting weapons and ships.

Niggerfield looking DOPE!
Seriously, what's with all the niggers in this game? WE BE KOLONYZING SPES 'ND SHEEEIT! Did Bethesda forget that the majority of their fanbase is white? In the future there are no whites and asians?
Character models look like absolute dogshit, this is a Bethesda game after all.
That ugly engine has been overused to the point of near death...

I don't get why it has to be so (homo)sexual. Game's really horny and it's embarrassing.

Still can't believe they released a game like this without any ground vehicles. No bullshit in-setting explanation as far as I can tell either, Todd just went full Gigachad, refused to include vehicles, and feels compelled to offer no explanation beyond "you have a jetpack".

Ground vehicles would probably be tied to horse mechanics and physics because the engine is ancient and barely works.

This is what a 25-years-in-the-making AAA UI looks like

I personally think it's really nice that AAA studios piss away their budgets on zero-talent NPC hires so indies can out-compete them on every front.

Non-ironically, the screenshots from your degenerate vampire game have better aesthetics than what I'm seeing here from Starfield. Now, let's make it less tame and take some inspiration from BG3!
