right now i'd gladly settle for a moddable, stable skyrim in space. it can be done, even the latter, fallout 76 has been pretty solid, it froze only twice in so many hours i'm ashamed to admit but it was a case of stockholm syndrome.

I can't wait to see posters' optimism dashed on the rocks like the heads of newborn babes as Fallout 76 happens all over again. I will get far more entertainment from that than I ever could from a video game.

I don't know. What could be worse than Bethesda getting the rights for Fallout back in 2000s and releasing Fallout 3?

As for Todd making his newest hiking sim in space... Well, people here will pirate it all the same to make a porn game out of it.

FO76 after the B team took over is easily the best Bethesda game titled as Fallout. If Starfield is being made by the same people, I'd actually be pretty excited, as the post-release FO76 content is pretty good.

And it's not even a fair comparison because FO4 hides the identical dialogue options behind a dialogue wheel so you don't realize they're identical.

”Dr. Livingstone I presume.”

Doesn’t look too ”spacey” or ”alien” to me, but meh.

If flora is green it means this planet has they same sun as ours, on the same diatance, same size. I bet gravitation will be the same too. I hope there'll be elves at least so we can call it a solid scifi.

"Starfield" is one of those weird words that isn't made up, but feels like it is anyway.

It sounds like they took a similar name (Snowfield? Scofield?) and simply added 'Star' to it, like Warcraft and Starcraft. But it's actually a legit word. Some people have the rare ability to do their homework and still sound like they didn't.
