Not exactly high praise is it?It's second only to the original Mass Effect.
Anyways I'm itching to give this another go with the Starvival mod paired with Deadly Hazards but I'm probably gonna wait for a Creation Kit release so I don't fuck up my save file with weird hacky mods. Posting these because I think it's interesting what they've managed to do without a SDK release.
Not really a fan of survival mechanics because generally it just creates tedium but what's the point of "NASApunk" with such surface-level mechanics? Don't even bother with the setting if you're not gonna go all in on making the early space exploration era feel dangerous and intimidating. This isn't Star Wars or Dune, it's set a couple hundred years after the first moon landing and the collapse of Earth. I realize it's foolish to think nuBethesda would ever do such a thing but they did hire the Frostfall/Campfire guy and they've said survival options are coming in their 2024 roadmap... These things aren't gonna save the game but at least it'd make it more engaging.
