Is this game actually good or is it just about owning the fags?

Should sell well on PC, a couple of screenshots which game looks more fun?

Over there.
I swear to God, that Yoda fusion abomination from Avowed served me hashbrowns at Waffle House last week.

Hard to judge "fun" basing on character shots. Basing on them alone, I can say I like the character design of Stellar Blade way more.

On the other hand, from what I've read, the game is pretty bare-bones in other areas, with barren locations, repeatable fedex questing. And very twitch combat, which may or may not be to one's liking.
For example my reflexes are rather too sucky for parry and perfect timing based gameplay. And I don't have the time or patience to learn and master the timings.

I did enjoy the Dark Souls, earlier entries more then the later ones, when I could overpower and ragdoll the enemies with slow swings of ultra-colossal weapons. Don't think that's the case here, though?
I mean it was already an issue in DS3 and Elden Ring, which became too fast for my liking.
Though Nioh1 and Surge 1 & 2 managed to be very fun with heavy weapons as well.

Started playing this. Am I doing something wrong or cancelling the attacks into blocking/parrying isn't responsive at all?

You're doing it wrong. The only part of the combat I found somewhat sketchy is the perfect dodge. The timing on it always felt finicky.

I'm having a easier time with perfect dodge because it's easier to cancel the attacks by dodging.

Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Did you take that screenshot while Hanry is plowing Sir Hans in the ass with this thing? Picture seems to be cut off in the half.
Sorry, I usually get different stories in my games as I avoid participation in homosexuality.

But imagine whatever makes you happy!

Thanks,
Sherry
