I can live with no ending. If that's the worst sin the game commits and it gets everything else right, it's fine. The real treasure was the friends we made along the way.
Apart from that it isn't bad. The writing is appropriate for the setting - It's pulp action more than mystery. The loading screens kinda give that away.

The production behind this game is so strange. Steam reviewers say the game isn't finished, but it's not in EA. The devs are still around and making games, but they went on to make cat games. The IP is still alive and a prequel is getting made, but it's by another studio.

I got the urge to download and try it again. The game had many cool ideas. I think this is the first crpg I tried that had actual gameplay effects to age. You can play as young, middle aged or old and it affects your skill and state distribution. Cigs are used as currency in this post apocalypse. Magic in this game is dangerous and unpredictable, and you will pay life and and limb to cast spells. So many good ideas unfortunate that the turks abandoned the project.
