Arcane
Playing the game and feels mostly negative lol
Strategy-game combat, not squad-based tactics combat or even miniatures wargaming combat.- people saying this isn't a RPG
- but it has combat
Granted, it's been a while since I played and I didn't come anywhere near seeing all the paths, but doesn't the game allow you to be unapologetically fascist?
Wokeness sucks I get it, but if a game lets you go both ways of the extreme I don't see a problem with tbh.
I've only played the base game, but if you take a more hardline option I assume the event changes, or are you saying there's no rightoid path in the DLC? Damn shame if that's the case.Do you see a fash path in the writing up there ? The whole event is dripping with blue haired cuck boy fag toy uni graduated butthurt.
Alcarez should have been a war enemy, sacking his capital would have felt good. Also seeing repercussion from fucking him over, would have been nice. Oh and the end screen numbers were idiotic,a quarter of mil dead soldiers lol.Alvarez
While the devs probably are typical progs you encounter among creative and tech types, I think they did an admirably balanced job with writing and characters in Suzerain. If you've ever tried writing stories, you'll know how easy it is to turn characters you find personally abhorrent into mouthbreathing caricatures, and Suzerain manages to avoid exactly that. Generally you get the option to symphatize/antagonize any faction/character in Suzerain, and the game rolls with it in a coherent way. You can run with a political program of Total Blud Death, and the game presents characters and parties that allow you to attempt forming a political coalition around that. You can go full Gay Space Communism and try the opposite direction.SJW dev tbh. Was obvious with the original version and it just got more apparent with the 2.0 and Rizia updates.
The post right in front of mine.Where the hell is this idea coming from? Rizia is just as well-written as the base game.
rather lacking in dialogue strength for a visual novel, but bad writing never held back charles dickens or planescape.
I think he was referring to the original Suzerain rather than the newer Rizia, anyway, given his reference to the protagonist being "henpecked". The writing in Rizia is overall at about the same level as the original Suzerain; my chief gripe is that certain paths aren't fleshed out enough (e.g. the theocracy path is extremely backloaded, so that the playthrough overall was similar to my first one as a diplomatic character), but this was also an issue with the release version of the original game, which the developers considerably improved and expanded via patches. It was so poorly written that I skipped it.
