look ! it's yahtzee playing TOR and complaining and praising and complaining some more
I have lost my respect for Yahtzee after he ragequited Dark Souls on the first boss.

His videos are still funny though.

Took you that long to figure it out? He's basically the kind of guy for whom quest compasses were developed. He styles himself a FPS and action-game expert, but spent over 60% of his Clear Sky review complaining about how unreasonably hard it was (he played on normal). As much as he likes to shit on Call of Duty, it's the perfect game for him. He even praised Thief for the ability to kill enemies effectively ffs.

I knew he wasn't a very good reviewer (he's a good entertainer nonetheless) when he reviewed The Witcher. In retrospect, I'd say his lowest point was when he reviewed Valkyria Chronicles and didn't even play the game beyond the tutorial (if even that) and just assumed stuff beyond it.

He does have his moments though, like when he criticized Warhammer 40K as a setting in that one article of his. Still, he could have gone much further if he'd be an ex-fanboy who grew out of 'hammering.

I always facepalm when people call Yahtzee a bad reviewer. In my mind he's not even a reviewer. He has fucking 5 minute spots to quickly rant about random shit on a game - the goal is hilarity, not accuracy. It's like The Daily Show; comedy first and foremost, and sometimes a well-made point or two tags along.

Much of his stuff, such as The Witcher "review" you mention Vaarna, is derpy into all hell if you view it as a legitimate review, but who the hell has that view of a 5-minute video segment? :O

The irony is that his reviews are still better and more detailed than 99% of the shit most game-reviewers spit out.

What the fuck do I care what he calls himself? If you called yourself a quality poster that wouldn't have much of an effect on my opinion.

Oh, so you facepalm because people have different opinions and whenever people call a guy who does video games reviews "a reviewer".

No, I facepalm when people think 5 minutes is enough to do anything similar to a proper 'review'.

my witcher review took less than 5 minutes. maybe 4 minutes, if you count wiping my ass afterwards.

What the fuck is Vecna doing with a staff? He's only got one hand, don't fill it with a wooden stick you goddamn undead asshole. Think of your somatic components!

Since when does Vecna need somatic componets? He is a demi-god he doen't require somatic, verbal or material components but he 'll look a lot more regal with a staff,or a sceptre

PvP got a lot more challenging after hitting lv 50 and getting grouped up with valor rank 40+ players. I've taken to hitting the warzone queue with premades and generally having a blast in huttball. the game take a surprising amount of coordination once both teams have a grasp on the rules and focus on moving the ball up the pitch. Every goal really feels like a team effort with healers keeping people in the fight, the tanks running interference and the dps disrupting the enemy CC/healing.

So you wipe your ass with DVDs? No wonder you're so butthurt.
:troll:
:( it's true. but I can't seem to do it any other way. digital distribution is a serious threat to my anal bloodletting.

By the way, I heard EA stocks rocketed and the subs are at like 1,7 mills. that's pretty damn good (for them). it will be interesting to see how much and how hard it will plummet the coming couple of years.

1,7 mil was on the launch month...I wanna see how much that number has fallen since.

Your ignore list.
Unless SW:TOR leaves some sort of DRM active on the background when the game is not running, saying that a game causes your computer to crash when it's not running only shows how ignorant such people are.

Not that it makes SW:TOR any better. :smug:

I think you have to activate TOR through Origin, supposedly you can uninstall it after that, but...:smug:
