So finally KKKodex will be able to play it seven times.

So which of the 8 character stories are you skipping? Please say it's the godawful Consular one.
Have you tried them all? How would you rank them from best to worst?

Imperial Agent >>>> Bounty Hunter >>> Sith Inquititor > Jedi Knight = Smuggler > Trooper >> Sith Warrior >>> Consular

Or on a scale of awesome:
5: Imperial Agent
3: bounty Hunter
2: Sith Inquisitor
1,5: Jedi Knight, Smuggler, Trooper
1: Sith Warrior
0: Consultard

Kaliyo > Mako. If you're playing trooper, you gotta pick female + darkside to get renegade femshep. Sith warrior has fun game play but awful, awful writing. Smugglers all look ugly as fuck and never get to smuggle much.

So is this scale 0 to 10 or 0 to 100?

I completed the Warrior story and couldn't get over the fact that my master was a fat fuck. I mean, seriously.

I've been trying to complete the Knight story but the Light side is just so fucking boring, and the planet stories aren't any better on the Republic side. Everything is just one long grind. Best planets in the game were the first two because they didn't feel grindy at all. As soon as you leave Dromund Kaas/Coruscant you start the monotonous trudge through zone after zone.

I have an Imperial Agent who's just left Dromund and is now on the next planet... can't remember the name. I might grit my teeth and force my way through the boring planet quests just so I can play the class story.

Should play a bounty hunter. I got one to 50 and it's p. decent, plus you have a jawa companion and the female VO is damn sexy.

IA/BH are the only stories worth following IMO. IA suffers a bit from the whole "Complete subplot->fly back to fucking dromund kaas to report in -> fly somewhere else for next mission" scheme. since you're done with Drommie Kaas, I take it you're off to fight space terrorism. The arc is decent and will last you until level 30ish or so. Be sure to escape out of the convo at the end of it (you'll know it when you see it) and try a few of the different brances. There's a pretty awesome sequence of choices in there if you don't mind a few lightside points.
It only gets better from then on even if it's all a bit pulpy. Seriously, if they had made an entire single-player game around the IA story fleshed out a bit more, we'd be circlefapping onto Bioware in nerdkkake while sceaming "BEST LARP SINCE DESU EX!"

The level 30-40ish arc had sooooo much potential if only there had been the option to have more C&C.
It gets a bit derpy on the 40-50 arc. but it still does a pretty decent job of tying up every single thread from level 1 upwards. And you get to feel pretty smug at the end.

Okay, so apparently SWTOR is now free to play up to level 15. Now, I’ve tried to play this game before, an ordeal that wasted a lot of my time and did not result in me playing the game, mostly due to the complete ineptitude of the policy makers.
But I’m willing to give it another go. I already have an account created. I already have the client downloaded. It should be fairly painless this time around.
I fire up the client and it has to update itself. Well, the launcher updates itself, then it updates the game. This takes almost an hour of downloading. No big deal. That’s how it is with MMO’s.
Then I get to the login screen, I log in, and…
swtortrial0.jpg
Hm. I have to activate an existing account to use the free trial? Why? Why not just let me in? Fine, whatever. Let’s go to my account page…
swtortrial1.jpg
I don’t see anything here about a free trial. I click the links, read the pages. How does this work? There’s nothing in the top menu. Or the side menu. Or on this page. Fine, let’s ask Google. Google takes me here…
swtortrial2.jpg
Looks pretty straightforward. I click the big obvious button and…
It begins downloading the client. The client I already have installed and is currently sitting at the login screen, waiting for permission to login. Gah!
Note the first paragraph, where it seems to say that all I need to log in is a client. As an added bonus, that qualifying asterisk for the Free* Trial isn’t actually qualified anywhere on this page.
Hm. Let’s try the “My SWTOR” at the top of the page. I’d expect that to go back to the useless account page, but let’s see…
swtortrial3.jpg
Ah! Join Now! Let’s do it!
Nope. It takes me back to the previous page in a circle of idiocy. So these two pages both promise to start the trial, but they just uselessly link to each other without any sort of trial-starting.
But on the previous page I see a link to the FAQ. Let’s give it a look.

I think we’re done here. Thanks for playing Bioware. You’ve been a total waste of time.

Shamus Young vs Bioware. It's the kind of match where you hope both fighters will end up injuring themselves
