Yes, the mods are now making a "refund megathread" after the CEO had his little rant offering refunds to people complaining. And the game isn't even released yet.
I love how they go from talking about SCL refunds to America bashing. We need a Codex elite strike squad that exists just to derail the threads of the popamoles. This thread is AMAZING: http://steamcommunity.com/app/325600/discussions/0/517142892066001895/
Especially when they start talking about Texas and the ASCII dick pics start flying.
Personally, I played DA: Inquisition on easy because I prefer more action based like Diablo. Not a big fan of pausing constantly. What is going to be different about SCL is hard with 4 people playing. Might not need to pause and will still be really challenging.
Reads like a parody by BubblesI'll stop spamming this thread after this, but had to mention that they've obviously had a big meeting about the clusterfuck that their 'communication strategy' has resulted in. Suddenly Dan reappeared, vaguely apologising for his tone and promising better in future, then churning out personal replies. The community manager suddenly answered a string of questions he'd been avoiding for months. And one of the QAs has obviously been detailed to help out on the forum as he arrived to confirm that the game is as "close to 5E as possible". Then he posted this gem which says a lot:
I feel the game is in good hands.
Time for a Codex report.Do you want to meet the makers of Sword Coast Legends and get your hands on SCL a bit more prior to launch? If so, we have good news for you! If you happen to live the San Francisco Bay area, we're throwing a public party at the incredible Folsom Street Foundry, located at 1425 Folsom Street, San Francisco.
- When?: 6:00pm to Midnight on Wednesday October 14th.
- Where?: The Folsom Street Foundry. Here’s a link to the venue's website:http://folsomstreetfoundry.com/
- Who?: Members of the n-Space, Digital Extremes, and Wizards of the Coast teams will be at Folsom Street Foundry to hang out and answer your questions about Sword Coast Legends.
- Why: With the launch of Sword Coast Legends right around the corner (10/20), we figured this would be a great time to meet with members of our growing community.
Wow, they actually attempted to make a Dionysia-styled launch party? That's some good taste right there. And some ignoramuses complained, of course. I'm shocked by this display of religious intolerance. I thought we live in an age of spiritual advancement, where cultural diversity is embraced by enlightened liberal minds.
Maybe it will end up like the God of War press party.

Small wonder that mindx2 slapped their ass so hard. Watchers are complete pussies.
He likes shit games
Correction: I tolerate shit games because I have no other choice. A good example would be Pillars of Eternity.
(Psst, that guy's not actually a Watcher, he's a guy who was trolling them in Twitch chat during the mindx2 vs Hiddenx D:OS 2 match)
Player's Handbook, 1978It is important to keep in mind that, after all is said and done, ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS is a game. Because it is a game, certain things which seem "unrealistic", or simply unnecessary are integral to the system. Classes have restrictions in order to give a varied and unique approach to each class when they play, as well as to provide play balance. Races are given advantages or limits mainly because the whole character of the game would be drastically altered if it were otherwise. Everything in the ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS system has purpose;[...]
