Anyway, while killing a little time I dug around to see who was covering the SS3 story. I found 4 videos, and only the first one (click here) mentions the Codex's involvement. Skip to 2:48 for that, but hang around until the 4-minute mark for a quite candid opinion piece.

(If you think that video was cringeworthy, you should see the others.)

The YouTube comments are as can be expected:

This next one was actually a weak trolling attempt:

But someone took it further:

they should make it connect since bioshock is all about different universes

I also have something about System Shock 3 that makes me sad. It's not the way the game will be, but the death of anticipation. "Hey look! A countdown timer with an S! I wonder what it's gonna be. Gotta wait 6 whole days!" "No you don't! I hacked the website and found the announcement page, you get to know now!" And the likely cool announcement of this game we didn't even know was coming is totally spoiled because someone just had to know right this second.

Err...right. Would it have made a difference if the reveal was last Monday or the next Monday? I don't think so.

But surprisingly, almost all the comment sections had one request pop up: People asking that System Shock 3 NOT be dumbed down for consoles. (That's what Bioshock was for!)
