The people on the beta backer forum are insane and were talking about contacting publishers on KDG's behalf
That fits. Paradox could release the game as it is now (probably a Powerpoint presentation with some pictures) and after 50 DLC in 5 years it will actually become a decent gamePradox are usually willing to fund some retarded projects.
Personally I don't see why it'd take so long to rip out the ai and shove a map you can click on out the door but then I'm not a professional game designer like Josh!
But it's more likely that the AI has never worked before at all and it was just a smokescreen.
That would have required both A) Josh to continuously lie through his teeth in the face of the detailed technical AI questions I asked him during the two months I took over communications, and B) me, as an experienced programmer, to somehow not have noticed the alleged deception.
I know you probably think otherwise, but both conditions are bloody unlikely, their simultaneous occurrence nearly impossibly so.
So this is nearly impossible as it'd take both A) Some guy lying, and B) Some other guy believing him?It is kind of amusing how delusional the fans are:

Actually, the probability of them occurring together is rather high, since B necessarily implies A. If B, then automatically A.That would have required both A) Josh to continuously lie through his teeth in the face of the detailed technical AI questions I asked him during the two months I took over communications, and B) me, as an experienced programmer, to somehow not have noticed the alleged deception.

Josh told me yesterday that the tech demo was mostly stable and he should be able to have something 'soon' - note i haven't seen it yet
I translate that into by the end of the Summer if we're lucky
More mush from the wimptrust me I've been asking to see the demo

Well believing me (or in me) has not gotten anyone very much in life up to this point
I know now why Josh left. He left because he got to the point where one day he just couldn't face logging in and seeing another day's vitriol. He left because it's impossible to get any actual work done in an environment where everyone is calling you a liar or worse. And now it seems that I must leave as well.
So the smart money is on Josh skipping townwe should be meeting tomorrow

Our meeting at the local diner today went well. Josh insisted that he only had a few micro issues left to squash and that the finished product was just around the corner.

Met in a public place. (for his safety?) Didn't see a build. He's "doing the best that he can"
But Fenicks, what you posted is literally nothing.Yeah. No update. I could have posted literally nothing but that seems even worse.
