Gotta point though. Some porn VNs i tried were better written than most modern rpgs combined lol and i actually enjoyed the story there more than the lewd stuff. Can't say the same about gameplay, usually its just clicking on textbox.
Porn games are the only thing safe from SJW dropouts who seem to litter the game industry, writing heckin quirky characters and fake-edgy storylines with political / capitalistic undertones.

Eh.
Let's be honest here, it's probably a good thing for the mankind, first world birthrates and mental health of young men.
Then again, we might be doomed anyway because of the AI smut revolution.
Steam is the only main global storefront to block games from Germany, because it would probably be a nightmare to setup support for German AgeID laws just for some adult titles on the platform.
Every other storefront either was small enough that they could just not put it in (or mainly based in the USA or other non-EU countries in terms of reach), or they had the AgeID system in already.

The "game" element of even the best "open world" Illusion games like AG1/2/3, Sexy Beach 3/ Resort and AA2 were weak sauce at best. While I have fond memories of traversing/ exploring the island/ town in AG 1/2/3 for hidden areas, easter eggs and cool sex spots, it's only good for adding to the simulation/ fantasy aspect of those games, just like the mood/ relationship systems and the find-the-hotspot sex minigames. When you remove those it does detract from the simulation but the sim is the reason to play the games at all.
Which is relevant when critiquing Room Girl. Room Girl is basically a flimsy Sim game built around a quality sex simulator/ poser. The simulator/ poser looks great, performs well enough on my laptop, and the variety of possible positions has only increased since the last time I tried playing an Illusion game:
Teaching an old dog new tricks.
The Sim game layer is very minimal, but it's not really the emphasis and at least it's there to play around with. Basically you have a town like AG3 with many locations divided into Work places, Meet places, Useful places and Sleep places. You select the places on a map instead of running from place to place like in AG3, but again, what does the running around really add? There are NPC men hanging around most locations. You create women characters (you can create men and futa as well but it's kind of unnecessary), up to 15+, and register them by assigning them to a Work place. There are 3 character types - Serious characters only want to Work while they are at their Work place, Playful characters don't want to Work while at Work, and Eccentric characters that like to do things that attract Playful characters. So basically your female characters go to Work, or go home once they get tired and sleep. Sometimes they will talk to men at that location or the men will talk to them, and if they pass a Social check minigame, they become friends and start having sex with each other. Then they can pass another Social check and become Sexfriends (more options during sex including 3P) and then ifthey pass a 3rd social check they become boyfriend/ girlfriend. They can also break up randomly, etc... (maybe if they start to like someone else better?). Ofcourse, you are free to order any character to talk with someone, go somewhere, call someone, ask someone out on a date, etc... When your toons work they make money that they can spend on dates or forniture. So that's basically it. The game keeps track of the relationship status of your female characters with the men NPCs. Many locations have special functions and easter eggs, for example you can gamble at the casino and have 5P orgies at the hot spa. Would be a fun game to mod I think and add things that Illusion would have never added like maybe a Brothel Work spot, STDs/ Pregnancy (there is already a clinic), job mobility (there's actually a school to take classes as well as an unused education/ learning system), etc... However hardware performance also suffers in the Sim mode due to many locations being poorly optimized (don't ever go to the Park, it's hell).
Anyway, the sex sim works and is fun to play around with and the Sim game has modding potential. As is, not so good but someone could develop it into something worthwhile.

I tried multiple adult games for VR but they all were shit or tech demos.
VAM is pretty good for VR, even though its more of a toolset than a game. There are a lot of user created content such as scenes or looks. But i just pirate paywalled shit for it and there are enough quality free stuff too. Its also really easy to bloat your game folder up to 300 gb or more because of all the dependencies mods have and the game uses some ridiculous cache system... and its on fucking Unity, because of course it would be.
Still this is probably the best looking VR porn game. If you got the iron for it of course, my pc struggles to run some scenes.

Nah, Germany is in the right here. They're often retarded, but not in this case. Steam wants to be able to sell minors degenerate furry porn without any hurdles. Germany told them that that won't fly and Steam threw their toys out of the cot and blocked all those games for Germany. Even Playstation has proper age check controls for buying games. Steam has no excuse. They could even restrict their payment methods slightly and it would probably be confirm, as that's what PSN does.
Swastikas have been allowed in games in Germany for years already, btw. The Wolfeinstein games have been allowed to be sold in uncut form since at least 2019.
