I will never get in love with Bioware or Black Isle system because it doesn't make me really care for those npcs,

Just you wait to meet the Beamdog NPCs!

Two of them show up in conspicuous ways, at least good Dorn stays still and quiet.

Yeah and want to rape your alpha-male protagonist in the ass.

That never gets to happen as I never talk to him. Unlike in the other two retards' cases.

But you know he is there, lurking...

EEs wouldn't be half so bad if they didn't break at every moment. The Infinity Engine has been deeply mutilated.

On a more serious note: Dorn has perhaps the best loot amongst the personal quests of the cuckdog NPCs in BG. It is like cuckdog knows that people would react badly to their cuckery and assigned all the best stuff to the most SJW stuff (e.g., grossly overpowered black lesbian ninja vampire in BG2). Dorn's quest gives you a second anti-werewolf bastardsword, which you will bless in the werewolf island. All Neera got was a belt that doesn't even work! :D

Neera is just M stuff, she can kill your whole party or otherwise bring nefarious effects, so there's that.

Well belt from Ninja Guy quest is best item in EE IMO - makes Kagain great again.
You meant the 19 Str, 6 Int belt? That is relative. If you already have a 18/00 character, it isn't all that great. And if you are playing a caster, you don't care. If you are playing anything that is a Cleric hybrid, DUHM crushes it.

It is helpful, I guess, if you are playing a multiclass character and somehow didn't go for max Str and can't get DUHM.

Why not 19 STR belt + DUHM?
Not sure if they stack that way. Never tried, to be honest. Still, once you go over 18/00, there isn't that big a jump any more. 18 -> 19 is the major jump for Str because of the /xx stages.

This was the old versions, but once I backstabbed the life out of Sarevok with Fighter/Thief, 23 STR potion + DUHM (good-aligned character). Pretty fun.

Why stay at 19 STR if you can get 25 STR :D

I think the diff between 23 Str and 25 Str is 2 damage. Something like that. It is relatively minor by that stage.

It's multiplied by the backstab factor anyway, so any damage I can squeeze is welcome.

Well, belt is for Kagain usually. He usually uses 19 dex gauntlets so no Ogre Power gauntlets for him - so he is rather crippled for the warrior (low STR or DEX). With this belt we have warrior with 19 STR and DEX and 20 CON. Simply best warrior in the game IMO.

In BG, that is a x2 for backstab, IIRC.

You're better off putting it on Yeslick, who has an abyssmal 15 Str, and he already have about 7 Int anyway...

Kagain is actually smart (15 Int) :D

The difference between 23 and 25 strength is +2 to hit and +3 damage (for a total of +12 damage with a x4 multiplier). That's nothing to scoff at for a relatively easy obtainable buff. Definitely useful for those special fights, like the endgame boss.
