Hey all,
Thanks for all your comments! It’s been a bit rough after our video on Thursday. Brian’s best friend and mentor passed away recently, and he and some of the team attended his funeral on Friday. One of our other leads fell sick late during the week as well, but now we're up and back in action.
We’ve been keeping an eye on all your feedback, and listening regarding topics you'd want to hear more on. The video was received extremely positively, but it also raised some questions for some of you. Brian is planning to put out an update on Monday, and will be going into more detail on the video and the game itself.
And you can help us: Leave a comment letting us know what points you'd most like to address, and we’ll get to as many of them as we can!
Thanks,
Thomas Beekers

We just finished beautiful services for Dick Lehrberg. Wonderful stories about a very special person. He will be missed by all. — at Valley Presbyterian Church.
There is a big difference between buying shit games for aaa price or for price of coffee.
so many shit shovelware indie games
That's miserable, unfortunately. Time to play some more cards and hope for $2M.Campaign is at $1.1M. It's going to take a long time to make that 150k though...

Duh, Vault 13 is under Skara Brae!
(I assume this is new concept art?)
When Fargo first mentioned BT4 for kickstarter, I feared that it will be a hard pill to swallow. BT might have been a classic blobber back in the days, but is not a lucrative franchise anymore. They might be happy if they can manage to get 2 million.Campaign is at $1.1M. It's going to take a long time to make that 150k though...
Personally I don't think it's a problem of not a lucrative franchise, I think it's more people's unfamilliarity of Dungeon Crawlers perhaps. And I don't think this was that strong of a pitch by Fargo on this. And then finally, most of the game is pretty much completely vague. Granted Torment was also very vague, but that did have the Star Powered precious name and nostalgia of PST to drive it to crazy amounts of money (as did Obsidian's POE by name dropping Baldur's Gate).
I seriously thought they had a shitload of stuff planned for the campaign - interviews, videos, like with torment basically. What the fuck. Looks like they only planned stretch goals, which they can't even show because they haven't reached funding. What a mess.

It's only been 1 full business day since the engine trailer was released.

Business day? How are business days relevant in ks campaigns? Are you from europe or something? In europe you'll have internet that only works during "working hours" at this pace a few years from now.
I feel like I know some alien technology that nobody else can even fathom so I have to spell it out. An update is a matter of publishing prerecorded information with 1 click, so it doesn't require an office full of employees. And an update doesn't need game journalists, unless it's a critical one.
