Let's face it though, you don't play games to discuss philosophical matters with different characters, you play games to have fun, to do something extreme. We tried to limit the dialogues to the minimum and substitute words with action (like hitting someone with a pistol instead of explaining something to him), but in the end, it may still be too much reading for some people. That's why we always give you an out so you can say, "Alright, that's enough. Talk to you later. Out of my way, God damnit!"

The most important thing to note here is that people did believe it - even the example of the moderator over there. While it is easy to mock people and call them stupid for it, VD's interview was not far off the mark for how the game is being pushed to us all as it is, hence why it is so easy to swallow. If anyone has any sense they'll take it as a wake-up call and either change where the game or the PR is heading.

LOL I love seeing the reaction of the Codexers when others react to their stupidity. They almost seem shocked, and hurt when they get blasted for such retardedness, lameness, and a total lack of originality that the 'interview' shows.

The issue isn't about whatever he says about the Codex since everyone should be used to his bullshit by now. I've called Visceris on his stupidity a good number of times on a good number of subjects; well before having joined the Codex staff, actually.

No, the issue is about him accusing others of doing something when he does it himself - I've heard some refer to it as hipocrisy but you know how it is nowadays, there's a new word for everything! - and effectively whining about it everytime the Codex is mentioned. That's why I called him on it. He does what he accuses of doing, and to make matters worse manages to walk away from any kind of moderation despite being a hypocritical git who repeats himself ad nauseum and only contributes with instability to forum discussions.
