Naughty Dog spreading the  around the world.

I'd be curious how the reaction in Chy-nah is aside from that one image posted pages ago.

Standin' pretty. In this dust that was a city.
It takes a certain amount of boldness to ruin a story and a beloved protagonist, I admit. Perhaps people should show more respect. But only if it's done intentionally...
I get what you meant, but oh it was intentional alright. The problem is that it wasn't made to fuck normies out of their papa Joel comfort zone as it should, but to satisfy Druckmanns snuff porn fantasies.

circle of violence still broken, main character unretardeded.
How can a circle of violence be broken if she literally started another two hundred or so throughout the game?
thank you for not having read a single word of what i wrote. but, well, i could have been clearer. "enforce stealth": make ellie drop all the weapons, "no more killing from now, perhaps except for the one who truly earned it, but after that, no more".
I get your idea, but it woudn't solve much imo. What they should have done is what Dishonored already did several years ago - make killing nameless mob reflected in the story and cutscenes i.e. Ellie becomes more and more ruthless and cold the more you kill. As it is right now it's fucking laughable: she has no problem blowing up people to pieces during gameplay, but come a cutscene with a key character and she is all tormented and stuff

That doesn't change anything. We're trying to find a physical print medium which ran either one of these ads.

There are no sources to either of the images. Dexter wants to claim that makes them fraudulent, but I like to claim that the source has simply been omitted.

(Also this discussion is far more interesting than TLoU2 will ever be, rope physics be damned.)

That "previous high scores" ad is funny as hell, and I don't see much of a problem with it. I mean... there's a problem with everything nowadays, but sometimes I agree shit is a bit too much and I don't think so there.

The Hitler overlooking his army one though is pretty bad, and I can't believe it would be real.

Do we have a time scale on when this ad might have appeared? Beyond 1995? Obviously this ad wasn't rerun and I don't think such an ad would be used after the game is released. I can see if there's anything in old magazines from 1995, but newspapers are harder to find with ads intact. Its said to have appeared in newspapers, but that could just mean also appeared, rather than exclusively.

Borderlands 3 pulled a cool trick some time ago, when they removed all the negative steam reviews because they were "a result of review bombing" and not real reviews

Naughty Dog should step up their game IMO, all the negative reviews are clearly homophobic and should be removed to help them achieve their deserved 100% user score

Both ads are highly likely to have appeared after September '95 (both due to the game's official release date, and the inclusion of Jacques Chirac) but the one with Hitler quotes the Expansion Pack, 1 million sales and the PlayStation-port, meaning it was published in mid-to-late 1996 at the earliest.

Okay, I did not find an image of the ad itself, still looking for anything related to the Hitler one, but I found someone complaining about the previous high scores.

This and some other minor comments I found suggest they weren't newspaper ads, but on billboards. If they were, that explains why it's so hard to find anything about it now beyond memories.

Great and informative video.

Naughty Cuck has really gone off the deep end with their blatant SJW agenda. Watch how the game underperforms and Neil Cuckman subsequently blames it on "homophobes", "misogynists" and "white male scum".
game will sell very well just like uncharted 4 & the last of us. The larger PS4 fanbase don't care too much about the lesbians, their loyalty to naughty dog & PlayStation is greater
holy shit, I called it two years ago

From all the crying before it released, I thought we'd get to butcher way more hounds. Disappointingly there's only a handful of you get to take out.

Game is a perfectly adequate popamole bloody murder simulator when the difficulty is turned up. Certainly better than any of the other garbage Sony exclusives. Has there been any better murder stealth gameplay since MGSV? If so I would very much like to know.

People bitching about the writing should be forced to repeatedly play Fallout 4 quests or Borderlands 3 for perspective, though I guess I can understand all the people that were gay for Joel were bummed his brains got splattered before he scored any steamy man-on-man sex scenes with lot of grunting and puffing.

Most AAA stuff - especially in comparison - is obnoxious low-effort trash, this game at least tries to have style and there's zero micro-transactions.

Out of all the shitty piles of shit constantly squeezed out by the bigger studios, it is disappointing that this of all games is the one triggering so many irrational cuck tantrums and bottomfeeder youtubers pathetically scrambling to out edgelord each other. Sure, developer Druckman can come off a little as a smug bourgeoisie hipster, but not all game writers can be suave Lotharios in the mold of MCA.

I suppose the public outcry is to convince executives to double down on writing AAA monstrosities more like Ghost Recon: Breakpoint or perhaps a whole new genre of Death Stranding delivery driver knock-offs.

The fans cheering at the sales figures aren't thinking long term.

Sony don't care that much about sales figures for this when the PS5 is in sight. If they did, they'd do what Microsoft used to do and shove them with micro-transactions, they'd make a killing from the Sony fanboys.

Sony's priority is loyalty to the PlayStation brand and they'd be fuming about this game, I have a feeling the marketing was their doing and their lack of confidence is why they went so hard with DMCA's when the leaks happened.

Being optimistic, this game is mixed bag with fans and has done damage to the PlayStation brand. Naughty Dog was the flagship PlayStation Studio not long ago, those days look numbered. To top it off Sony haven't had a great run of late, Days Gone was considered middling and Death Stranding an utter bore given the hype Kojima brought with it.

Sony would have to be pondering, if TLOUS2 had even a solid/safe story with maybe Joel dying at the end it still would have gotten 10/10 reviews, the fan base would have loved it and it would have been a sure fire hit for the brand. All that was thrown out for Neil's "artistic vision".

I doubt Sony will let all their studios operate as freely as they have been going forward, Naughty Dog will be interfered with along with someone to keep on what Kojima is actually doing. Insomniac and the God of War studio will be their highest valued studios now.
