Must be some sort of hipster modern-arts-meets-contemporary-media abomination. Seriously, head on a shoulder. Bloody fuck.

Boywhore should, since EA backing, hire Ennio Morricone to compose their music. At least one aspect would be good.

God no please, don't let Ennio Morricone contribute to decline. That would be too much.

Delete your post before they catch on.

I'm replaying these games and it's driving me crazy that there's so little background noise in the cutscenes. There's one bit in ME3 when Shepard and Udina walk into Udina's metal-floored office and there's literally no sound but their voices. Shepard's wearing a fucking suit of armour, you're telling me he doesn't make a clang sound on that fucking metal floor? Meanwhile in Alpha Protocol Leland puts out a cigar and you hear it fizzle; you hear a chair pulled out offscreen before it cuts to Marburg sitting down; the guards walk by and you can hear their weapons and gadgets softly hitting each other as they walk.

It's an odd thing to be preoccupied with, but they sacrificed role-playing for cinematic experience, which is pointless if they fuck up the cinematic experience. This sort of thing is important for that vital immersion. did they spend their entire foley budget hiring Jessica Chobot or what?

Yeah noticed nicely. For being a popamole, those things really detract from the atmosphere... not that ME2 has any. i guess all they can do right is tali sweat stuff?

You don't ever actually see them boning :decline:.

I only got as far as mordin in Omega in ME2 and never tried ME3 . But what I enjoyed in ME1 was a sci-fi universe where not every species is on a genocidal war in a vidya game.

Oh I enjoyed ME1. Makes it all the more dissapointing that they utterly failed with 2, when 1 was a nice jumping off point for perfectly acceptable games.

Most atmospheric part of ME2 was at the very beginning with the Normandy being attacked.

Ironic, given that the ship is torn apart and you have to walk around in a place with no atmosphere. :smug:

I'm okay with futuristic alien alloys not going CLANG CLANG while you walk. But yeah, for a "cinematic" game they don't try very hard to be lifelike, focusing mostly on facial expressions.

They fail at facial expressions. The only thing cinematic about the games is the noninteractive cutscenes.

Hey, everyone! I just caught a glimpse of BioWare's up and coming new character! Apparently, she's going to double in a future DLC with Felicia Day.
