You'd be daft to kill the only one among you who has any experience with this game.
The silent ones are indeed equally suspect. Along with the first one to throw the blame : That's Tigranes .

His avatar is even a fucking skeleton.

The silent ones have different timezones.

I am a jew and a dindu. How could I eat kosher meat or leave the body sexually unmolested?

What's that note on the corpse? Looks like a receipt. I bet taxalot did it and couldn't keep himself from writing a receipt for the murderer so it could be taxed!

The note said something about the victim being "scaled to our level". As someone who plays casual shit, I clearly couldn't have done it. As a matter of fact, it makes me the next logical victim.

Yeah, the note rules out filthy casuals as culprits.

If there are any casuals among us, apart from taxalot, step forward. You are beyond hope doubt, so you have nothing to fear from us.

As one of those dinosaurs with amusingly tiny arms in proportion to the rest of his body I'll admit that the notion of someone being able to cut onions properly would enrage me to the point of murdering them.

However! I'd also be incapable of using both scissors and holding a magazine to meticulously cut out the letters without becoming enraged and simply eating the magazine.

I think it's clearly excom as he excommunicated mr. pink for scaling to the codex's level.

Excommunicated him straight to hell!

Sounds to me like you are saying you needed an accomplice for that. Or that you were an accomplice for the mastermind orchestrating the murder!

We have a criminal gang in the city, gentlemen! I think the detective ought to pay a visit to our dinosaur friend tonight.

While it is true that I am skeletal, the Grim Reaper takes those who have already been killed or whose time it is to go; he does not force a death where there is none to be had.

It appears Grimgravy is the last one to remain silent.

That one is definitely due to the timezone.

I ruled him out because of the whole 'scaling to level' thing. I think we need to seek for a Codexian regular well-versed in local memes.

Coincidentally, Tigranes is the most old of the oldfags, going by the join dates. And he still didn't answer my question about his whereabouts during the night.

Suspicious... :?

Also, Duraframe300 didn't weigh in yet, too, I think.

Me? I thought you were asking taxalot where he was that night. Since, you know, you were voting for him.

I, like any good Codexer, was most immersed in Messeur Vince Dwellier's new simulation.

Peacemaker, I'll point out.

In other words, the note rules out the real killer if he is a casual. I'd suspect the filthy casuals as leaving the note is just saying "oh these guys are not the killers". The killer just ruled him out of the suspect list with that note.

Filthy casuals can't into mind games. There is no tutorial for those things.

No, the killer is clearly a sophisticated :obviously: gentleman.

Tigranes said:
taxalot seems to have already admitted his penchant for killing people.

I dunno. In horror stories and slashers its never the one who makes it obvious.

Then again he could be trying to use that to his advantage.

We're all turning on each other. Just like the killers want. Nevill loves misdirection. Even posting fake screenshots in a 'friendly' SMAC game he's already winning. He's not to be trusted.

I am collecting data, using all available avenues.

And I am not afraid to attract attention precisely because I am an innocent. There is not much else I can do in this game, but draw reactions from people and put the detective on the right track. :M

everyone is finger pointing at individuals. while we can only nominate one person per night, it's important to remember there are two killers. so whenever someone claims they couldn't have done it because of reasons (such as their small, stubby dinosaur arms preventing them from making a note) they may still have participated in the killing.

You can nominate one person each, but only one person will be lynched a day, if multiple people garner enough lynch votes, the person that was nominated first gets killed.

note: 26 hours or so remain.

Doesn't that mean literally anybody could have done it?

Clearly, spigot is trying to raise technical objections that destroy any ability to close in on a single suspect!

EDIT: Also, the time limit means we have to choose somebody by the end of it, or else give the killers a free night.

So you are eager to hang someone - anyone - just so that the killers wouldn't be the only ones killing people?

Wouldn't hanging an innocent put us in a worse position than before?

Why do you want to reduce our numbers?

We don't want to hang just anyone, but we want to try and find a good suspect without giving a free night.

You seem very eager to put words in people's mouths, Nevill.

Perhaps we will find someone suspicious after all, Nevill.

As ror my defense: We raptors may be carnivores but as you can plainly see I'm currently on vacation trying out new things.

Eating someone I could do at home.

Nevill has the most convoluted theories, whereas if something Ockham's Razor and internet wikipedia science has always teached us, it's always the simplest of solutions that's the best.
So far there's only one people with a reasonable motive to eat the victim, and that's a bear named spigot . There goes my vote .
