I wonder what would happen if somebody actually tried to create an FPS-RPG where the enemies are like, Unreal Tournament bots or something. Lol. Circle strafe rocket jumping with stats.

I wonder why no one has tried to create a post apocalyptic fantasy, but more like Fallout, where you visit the ruins of the past civilization (where you discover forgotten magic, ancient kinght orders defeated by the evil) then Tyranny, which was lame and boring.

My first impressions:

1. Nobody reacts to having a gun pointed at their head.
2. The gun is a revolver, like we had 150 years ago. With some crap on top.
3. Pretty nondescript scenery otherwise, I already forgot most of it.

Not only that but it also makes you feel like your character is some kind of a robot, I mean, who walks like that!? Unless of course it's a dude from an FPS of the 90's. Ugh, at least add the animation to lower the gun when the PC talks to someone. This is definitely not the only game that does that, but it seems very little people pay attention to how awkward it looks. At least games like CP2077 seem to have put some thought into FP animations.

A lot of people reacted to how it looks on the internet. Many people pay attention.

I wish they were actual game developers.

Not quite the same but I was very impressed with Destiny 2's AI.

Most of the things that are good about that game are due to Bungie's experience making Halo games.

Yes, and the alternative is, of course, shit Bethesda-like shooting.

But you know what I wonder? What would happen if they stopped trying to make "FPS-RPGs". Imagine that.

And since we're here:

What if instead of changing something people might like you instead do something else? Quel horreur!

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex USB, 2014 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Bubbles In Memoria
It is probably enough to get you fired from some places of work in current year when it appears on your screen.

Yeah, i suppose if you procrastinate on Codex while you are at work, that is not enough to get you fired, you need to have some barely nude picture in it as well...

Browsing through the Codex is filed under doing research. I usually finish my work well before lunch so i have the rest of the day for research. And stuff.

this is a great discussion of the upcoming game, The Outer Worlds!
Well, we had something like 30 - 40 pages of "the writing is going to be fucking awful" before the vegan discussion. I think the Codex did a good job.

Anyway, Obsidian should have never let John Gonzalez go.

I was once in a relationship with a 90 lbs vegan girl and she was a moron. [...] Great blowjob though.
Of course it was that's the only meat she gets.
Can you swallow cum and still call yourself a vegan?
