Additionally from that Glassdoor review,
Scope of projects can spiral out of control due to failures at the production level (bad data fed to directors) or project directors with good data making delusional decisions.

"Project directors with good data making delusional decisions" doesn't seem to describe this considering the finished product, so I guess that really is Shiny Objects Sawyer.
