It's barely tolerable if you're watching a VOD where you can fast forward half of the content but how can anyone watch live streams and not slit their wrists 10 minutes in is utterly beyond me.

Disagree. Cain and Boyarsky explicitly asked the owners to prevent any interference by Sawyer, plus he quickly lost his (fake) producer role.

Edit: The owners told Sawyer not to interfere, but it's not clear if Cain and Boyarsky asked for it.

Additionally from that Glassdoor review,

Scope of projects can spiral out of control due to failures at the production level (bad data fed to directors) or project directors with good data making delusional decisions.

"Project directors with good data making delusional decisions" doesn't seem to describe this considering the finished product, so I guess that really is Shiny Objects Sawyer.

Game seems to be a bit cpu bound.

Also deactivating (well setting screen effects on low) post-processing (Which you should anyway) raises performance by 20-30 fps.

There's little difference between the maximum graphics setting and lowest from what I can see. Maybe a bit of shadow and occlusion details but I think a GTX 970 can run 1080p with little hitching.

It's pretty much a better version of what I expected (from what I've seen so far. I stopped watching). I'm happy.

This got to be a decent year for rpgs after all with the amazing Disco Elysium and now Outer Worlds. Hopefully next year won't disappoint.



(Though Cyberpunk isn't my kind of setting and VTM:B 2 has lots to do to win me back)
