Yeah, I wonder when it'll be available. The trailer looks fun though. Just as crass like the KF I came to know and love.

Got Terraria and Killing Floor, didn't find any other game I'd like.

Another good deal (non-daily): Oddbox for $5 includes Abe's Exoddus, Abe's Oddysee, Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath.
Pretty good deal. :) I'd get it but I already played them.

Holding out on Terraria in case it comes up as a daily. After taking an hour to sift through a $20 or less search this sale is a lot more like the Treasure Hunt than the last Summer or Holiday Sale. Confirming my earlier thoughts. I'll wait until later tonight when the servers are more stable/less users and see if I can pick out a few good non-daily deals and sit on those until they cycle through the 10th. Not expecting to get a lot, quite frankly.

TPB version of Borderlands has free multiplayer.
Wait what? How's that possible? I thought Borderlands had online activation for even the SP.

Here's my shameful first day purchase.

The Mawesome Pack, Spectromancer: League of Heroes, Gratuitous Space Battles: Nomads, Back to the Future: The Game, Gratuitous Space Battles: Galactic Conquest, Guardians of Graxia Elves and Dwarves Expansion, BIT.TRIP.RUNNER, Spectromancer: Truth and Beauty, Paradox Fantasy Pack - Summer Sale 2011
With free prize from tickets, Alien Breed 2.

God a few more things earmarked to wait for dailies, but I jumped on these since they seemed cheap enough to not be an issue. Most expensive thing being the Back to the Future Telltale game, but since I've enjoyed some of their previous games I'm not too worried about spending $12 on this one.

You know what -- I'll bet some of those bonus levels you can unlock with tickets are part of some meta game! You best save your tickets!! Thanks for pointing out Mawesome pack. Been waiting for a decent sale on that, I'll add it to my final day purchase pile along with Oddbox and Paradox Fantasy Pack.

I'm really debating on whether to get the Witcher 2. I want to play it, but it's going to be a while until I get around to beating the first one. It might be cheaper by then. Curse you, Gaben! I have enough going on in my life without all these high-pressure sales tactics stressing me out.

Nice I was wondering when the summer sale was going to kick in. Hoping that Victoria II will be a daily deal, really want to get that one as well as Semper Fi.

Curse you Paradox for actually making games good enough for me wanting to spend my money on. :x

I'm in the same boat. I got EU3 a while ago, and now I'm craving more.

You need to activate your copy (Steam doesn't require activation, although the first two DLC still do) but there is no key to authenticate you online. It means that you can pirate the game and play online with any hassle. I think that out of our Codex group, I was the only one who legally acquired the game and DLC, and Monocause only had the base game. The other were filthy pirates.

Wow, so I just looked through the entire Steam catalog and there's maybe like four things total I'd buy as non dailies. Hope the dailies are really really really good~

Hmm, the first day isn't exactly off to a spectacular start, nothing there I really want yet, all kind of meh.

Come on, Divinity 2!

Ugh. I could probably do all the tickets today, except "Find your friends - Link your Facebook Profile in Steam"

Can't you just create a fecesbook account and do it ?
Yep, that's what I just did. Made a crap account with a crap email, linked for a second to get the ticket, then unlinked from Steam and deleted the account.

Dungeons is a piece of shit, right?

Yes. And another day of nothing for me. Not even going to bother with the Facebook ticket. Eh, on second thought I might get Dark Messiah or the entire Heroes V pack since it's only another $2.50 -- I enjoyed King's Bounty although I mainly just want the ARPG-esque Dark Messiah.

Another day with nothing of interest. Might try Shogun 2 but after the disappointment that was Empire it will have to even cheaper than that for me to buy it.

This might interest some one though

All the paradox strategy games for 40 euro, well except for Crusader Kings which isn't available on steam, pretty decent deal if your interested in them.

Dark Messiah for 2 euro is a daily deal as well, pretty decent hack and slash if thats your cup of tea.

And of course the fact that Call of Duty Black Cocks is still even on sale more expensive than what a hard copy in a regular store would cost for a brand new PC game is some what inane. :M

Yeah I went for the heroes package since it has Dark Messiah bundled aswell.

In theory it should be possible to force ambient occlusion as with other source titles.
