My upcoming survivorslike Gravepact demo is in this Next Fest

Although I would recommend waiting a few days before playing it since I intend to add more features.

I also downloaded Viking Survivors, Infernal Battles, Cursebane and The Nightwatch.
If anyone plays any good roguelite/autobattler demos let me know.

Personally, I've felt that the survivors-like subgenre has gotten oversaturated and boring because almost all of them are the same game where you don't do much of anything. What sets yours apart?

I wish people would stop making survivors-likes and make proper bullet hell twin stick arcade shooters, or at least actually innovate on VS instead of just mimicking it.

Games that I felt set themselves apart enough to actually be worth playing (at least a little bit) include Halls of Torment, Brotato, and Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. The ones that suck are basically everything else I've tried in that space.

this game is actually a pleasant surprise since there's only a handful of games about the Warring States era.

it's basically a combination of Crusader Kings and various elements from the Total War games, plus some of the devs own unique design choices, such as the fact that you can have harems (lol) and your generals can basically do their own thing if they're not loyal enough to you.

there is a prequel for this game, but the English translation for it is awful. the translation in this one is better, but it's still....... off:

I always wondered what game writing would look like if written in the form of fortune cookies.

Someone told me about a game they made some 8 years ago that is free on Steam. I believe it is based on that movie called The Name of the Rose. It is FREE so in the library it goes... mind the pun. I hope my library isn't burnt down.

It's actually a modern version of a game released in 1987
