I've been on Steam since 2004 and I only have 61 games (or 57 if you exclude things like HL2 Lost Coast).

If only I hadn't wasted my money on Skyrim this month, I could have bought Bulletstorm and something else.

You now own The Haunted: Hells Reach, Hamilton's Great Adventure - Retro Fever DLC, Magicka: Gamer Bundle, Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalker 2012: Deck Pack 1, Geneforge 1, Geneforge 2, Geneforge 3, Geneforge 4, Geneforge 5, Serious Sam: The Random Encounter, Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalker 2012: Expansion, BEEP, Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns, Kohan: Ahriman's Gift, Kohan II: Kings of War, RISK Factions, Bulletstorm, Arx Fatalis.

There is a disturbing lack of DCS games in that list.

Got Men of war: Vietnam, King Arthur collection, MGT: Duels of planeswalker 2012 and Payday from this sale.

Payday is pretty cool but suffers from the same problem as Left 4 Dead did, retarded players ruin every mission.

Never been much for flight sims. Doing stupid crap in Stunt Island was more my speed.

Also hurf. Was selling off my extra copies of the Haunted, and a guy who bought one has 926 Steam games and had this show up in my Steam community ticker once he was friended.

Ended up just getting Orcs Must Die, Divinity 2, and Arx Fatalis for $18ish total. The price on Dredmor is certainly low enough but I sort of want to wait to play it when the expansion content is implemented and I'm sure it'll be at least 50% off in three weeks if not part of a bundle in the interim. Several other titles I was interested in but I figured those three games plus the massive Terraria content update coming out in three days plus the fact my friend just gave me a beta key for Path of Exile should keep me busy until the Holiday sale. Oh, that and there are at least two, probably three more indie bundles coming out during that time span, too.

Are the Drakensang games pretty good?

Ten bucks isn't too bad if it isn't any worse than DAO.

Final tally is only a few things: Civ V DLC because it's super cheap (if they ever get around to fixing the balance problems or a definitive mod comes out so I can go back to it), Arx Fatalis (never played it, controls are clunky as fuck but it makes more sense when you think of it as an Ultima Underworld successor), and The Binding of Isaac (randomly generated Zelda + dual-stick shooter = pretty cool; can do without the shooting but whatever). I have most other games worth getting, or am just not willing to pay that much for some of them.

It's basically a semi-open-world dungeon crawler with classless character progression, decent story with some cosmetic choice & consequence in side-quests, and the ability to play as a dragon (something BioWare and Bethesda surprisingly have yet to accomplish). For $10 you get a lot of gameplay and it's pretty damn good if you like that sort of thing.

If you enjoy Skill Based cRPG's then give it a go. For example want to wield swords? You can. Want to wield swords and cast a fireball, you can. Want to wield a sword, throw fireballs and summon monsters, you can (for example),

It is WELL worth 10$.

I believe the vast majority of the Codex enjoyed it -- it has to be good!
It bored me to tears. Character progression and combat are both as dull as dishwater. I stopped playing after five hours.

I bought Thief: Deadly Shadows for €2,50. I have a pirated version already, but getting it to work is a bit problematic.

Well, the thanksgiving sale was much larger this year compared to last years. I'm just hoping this isn't going to somehow take away from the same type of deal they had last year.

My guess is the Holiday sale will sort of be like the summer one but with 'presents' instead of 'prize tickets.'
