So, I've played some games from the festival and picked some interesting ones.
This is probably the best demo I've played and I can already tell it's going to be a huge success. I'm not sure how to describe it. I guess it's your another "this year survivor craft game", but the world is hand-crafted and not procedurally generated, food and drinks only give bonuses and even less of a necessity than it was in Valheim and terrain / buildings destruction looks almost on par with
Teardown. There is also a glider and a grappling hook.
The only problem is yeah, optimization is fucking terrible. I mean, it requires 6 gigs on VRAM just to launch and 3070 Ti cannot even do 1080p with 60fps on Ultra. Then again, they acknowledge that it's not ready yet, but said that they needed the coverage from the Next Fest.
A point and click adventure I've been waiting for some time now. The story, art, voice acting are great, but there is not much in terms of puzzles. So, in the end it will come down to how good the story will be.
A horror roguelike with a top down view. Enjoyed it for the atmosphere and shooting mechanics feel nice.
Absolutely fantastic in terms of animations and combat design, but would feel more appreciated (at least be me) if it wasn't another arena roguelike shooter.
At the very least the main character doesn't have shaved sides. That's a great start. Dialogues and writing are generally good. Can you imagine that? However, it was too linear and I have questions to the clue finding mechanics.
