ah it's all good, as long as my bros have fun I don't really care what games they play

I attack games not bros

my interest was mainly in saving him money to buy something better

Then you'll be delighted to know OMD developer Robot Entertainment is porting over one of their iphone games:

But the best news for MHC:
• Team Fortress 2 unlockable items -- Each expansion team purchased in Hero Academy on Steam will unlock a unique cosmetic item in Team Fortress 2.

Ended up picking Alan Wake + the DLC for 9 cyber credits. I'm not expecting anything great or even that good, but maybe it'll at least mildly entertain me until the end. Also bought New Vegas Ultimate Edition for my brother in a vain hope that it'll get him into Fallout. Or if anything at least to experience NV since it's a great game.

Nah, I'm out of the hatgame. Cashed all my hats out and uninstalled TF2. Kept my weapons in case the urge to play again strikes me, though.

Already got all the new voting games, bleh. Think I'll vote for Walking Dead since I enjoy it so much and want more bros to share the love, and SPAZ will probably be in a bundle at some point. Despite my bitching about SPAZ in some thread somewhere, it is mostly enjoyable if any bros wanna grab it instead of waiting for a bundle. And I haven't played since they added mercenaries and retooled a lot of the balance, so it may be less of a grindy pain in the ass now. Not sure.

Beyond Good and Evil is the new flash despite it not showing. Showing up as 75% off on its store page for $2.50 -- grabbing that. Now pretty much just reconsidering Dungeon Defenders stuff when it's an inevitable rehash daily and maybe Derp Rising OTR.

Still on the fence about Krater, too. One thing in its favor is the developer seems to be patching it about once a week, so at least it appears to have good support. Against it, not sure the combat, character development, and randomized shit is up to snuff. Hnnnnnnnnnnnngh.

Since I still use XP passing on Krater is a no brainer. Honestly, I wouldn't bother. I don't think it was well received and it'll probably crash in price fast. I credit the developers coming here and soliciting feedback but, in the end, I think all they really did was make a large scale Warcraft 3 hero/adventure mod.

So, I bought Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. The game looks interesting enough, but seems to be an enormous time sink. Yikes.

It's pretty damn cool if you like capital ship space battles, though. I remember enjoying it, then IIRC I hit a space stealth mission (HIDE BEHIND THESE ASTEROIDS, DON'T GET SEEN OR MISSION OVER) and then stopped playing because what the FUCK.

Or maybe it was a later space stealth mission. I don't even remember now. For some reason I think I made it through one and hit another, but I'm not sure. Been years.

space stealth mission

I've heard a lot about that mission. I played it a really long time ago but didn't complete it, and haven't revisited it despite forgetting everything about the gameplay because I don't want to get into it and then ragequit because FUCK SPACE STEALTH I AM CAPITAL SHIP

Has CKII been on sale yet?
Yes, for $10. However, if it doesn't show up during the Steam sale again (Or if you want these extras) Amazon's got it, Vicky 2, Majesty 1 and 2, Sword of the Stars 1 and 2, and Magicka complete for $12.50.

Edit: Steam keys for everything, for clarification. And it's a bundle, not individual games priced at $12 that would be RIDICULOUS.

Well, the commands are a bit clunky. I had to do the second mission four times, not because it's difficult in any way or form but because I was struggling with the controls. I had to learn that the messages have to be clicked away before you can proceed, although the game looked as if it was proceeding normally. There is something meditative about my small battle ship performing an elaborate dance around a non-moving and non-shooting target and firing once in a while when it is in range. Or maybe I should meditate. I hope it will get better when I internalize the controls.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition is on sale for 75% off, so it currently costs about $10.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/2028016/

I am thinking about buying it to try out my new PC, however there is a problem.

I've not yet hooked up the new Gaming PC to the net, and don't want "Steam Client" on my other Computers.

A question for you guys.

Is it possible to the following:
1. Create a account without installing the client.
2. Buy the game while its currently on sale (also without installing the client).
3. When the new PC is online, download the client and install the game.

I don't trust any form :rpgcodex: of DRM, and want to keep it isolated from my regular Data.

You're being a weirdo but I will answer your questions.

1. Yes. https://store.steampowered.com/join/
2. Yes. You browse to Steam's webpage, log in with your account, and buy it.
3. Yes. After making your account and buying via the browser, it'll be on your Steam account forever and ever. Steam has yet to pull access to a game. If they remove it from the store, everyone who bought it still has it to download.

If you wanna go one step weirder, you only have to launch the game once after downloading via Steam, then can flip Steam to offline mode so it doesn't phone home while you're gaming. The one initial launch after downloading is just for activation/installation, should be fine after that.
