Well, some will say that's it's luck-driven, and it is, but it's one of those games where you have to manage your chances well, knowing risks and rewards, the strenghts of your character, and so on.SausageInYourFace mastroego I see Talisman discounted on Steam all the time and it looks pretty interesting. It says 1-6 players, but is it actually any good alone? Seems weird for a board game.
Experienced players win consistently so there you have it.
I understand it shines in Multiplayer, but I play it SP.
The AI is not easily programmable for a game like this, but they do improve it with every new expansion, of which there have been a lot.
The Season Pass is rarely heavily discounted, but it's been almost 4 years since the original release and they're still adding expansions. Truly a good deal for the content.
Consider that some of those expansions change the game dramatically too, it's not just new cards.
What can I say, I like the game a lot.
With the expansions, it's like a a compendium of all things fantasy condensed in a board game.
Very flavorful, nice music too.
They UI is great for the most part, even though a few areas could be improved (most notably the spell casting/interrupt mechanic, which needs some getting used to).
Also what sausage says.
Again I don't play online but I know there are groups that schedule games (rather than looking for random games, you should look for similarly inclined players in the forums I imagine).
