What happened to this guy? Also - the main voice of the mother character is the same as the Human Noble Warden's mothers voice. Again - ugh. I'd rather imagine the characters voices than have actually voiced lines of dialogue.

Man. The Witcher had better graphics. Is there something I'm not seeing here? Whatever, like somebody said, pretty graphics wouldn't save it. But ME2 didn't look that shit, what the hell?

FAIL BioWare. FAIL. :rpgcodex:

The picture comparison says it all. The former guy looks like a gruff and likeable dwarf who doesn't really give a crap, the latter looks a pretentious and overly sensitive arts nerd lost in his own self-satisfaction.

Too bad the minimap in the gameplay vid clearly shows a simple corridor surrounded by terrain that is, for some reason, inacessible. FFS, DOOM had a more open world :x
The only video I have seen so far is the combat demonstration one (which was kinda stupid) showing "PC only" features.. which I don't really think required a guy standing in front of the green-screen to tell that we can press spacebar to pause the game but whatever.

The point is, maybe it's a demo map in the video or the world is unexplored and minimap is not showing areas covered by fog of war. I think they said something about bigger areas to explore in some interview, but I stopped paying attention after the ridiculous video I mentioned above.

Has DGaider discovered the cure for baldness? :D
W.I.G.

PS: Neverwinter Nights 2 and its expansions like MOTB still look better than Witcher and DA2 combined so far.

First page of this thread has 2 vidyas of the "16 minutes of DA gameplay" which looks like it's been taken directly from the beginning of the game. Looks exactly the same way Dragon Age maps looked - tiny. Maybe the city will be bigger, but it's the console-friendly tribe of games we're talking about, here...

Yes of course it's a demo map. You definitely want to show a shitty corridor in a game that is hyped as having big areas.

My point exactly. I'd buy past-Gaider a beer. But current Gaider? GET THAT THING OFF YOUR HEAD AND BE PROUD OF YOUR VIKING HERITAGE DAMN IT.

Don't know if serious.

If you haven't played the game turn this on in HD. The Dike in Vizima was one of the most visually impressive locations I've seen in video games ever.
I wonder if the people who say that NWN2 looks better than The Witcher are actually serious, or are they just trolling? Cause it's so obvious that the Witcher is far better. Your video is a great example for that.

Ohhh... CD Projekt fanboys vs Obshitian fanboys.

This should be interesting!
Actually I fit into both categories, and as much as I love NWN2, in terms of graphic quality, The Witcher has the upper hand.

Actually, trolling with Witcher name in there. NWN2 and expansions still look better or equal to DA2 and that's a fucking truth.

Insert clever insult here
Always amazing how people can live in denial. "My cat died for a reason", "there is a Santa Clause", "it's only a demo area, the actual game allows you to explore", "the PC version will have tactical, challenging combat and use DX11 gfx-tricks"

Suuuuure.
