Looks quite generic with a hint of DA:I overdecorated style. That mountain/dungeon looked promising though.

Daggerfall in that sense is also pretty generic, they are making a medieval high fantasy, so don't expect setting like morrowind, but more like kingdom come.

I wonder who is the 'famous person' in the RPG world that expressed interest, Chris Avellone? George Ziets? Brian Fargo? Garriot? Gygax ?

I love the art depicting a huge landmass. It adds atmosphere when the game has stunning large vistas. I just hope the game has a ton of magic schools and u can cast from hotkeys. That way u can create a unique playstyle that is rewarded for creativity.

You guys better go there and dwarf those skyrim lovers because Ted is checking the 'temperature of rpg community', we don't want the new game to have action combat, do we ?

Action combat is great if it's done well. See Dark Souls, BotW, KCD. The difficult part is integrating action combat with RPG elements. My favorite is still Gothic 1/2 when it comes to this, the way your animations and move set evolved as your skills went up. I would try to design a good action RPG combat system like that: an active system requiring player skill to time parries, dodges, and knowing which combo/skill to use when, but also RPG skills controlling access to skills, parries, moveset animatons, and so on.

Combining 2 would be the best, if we would live in a perfect world.

I was hoping this would be alien or unique like morrowind, but it's just more generic European fantasy. Oh well.
Ted eventually made it clear when the server opened they all had this concept of intrigue in a high middle age Europe, where the Old Gods remained.
